It works great for carrying keys. The internal compartment makes it easy to organize keys and minimizes the risk of any accidentally coming off. It makes it easier to carry keys and a car or truck remote by allowing attachment to the belt loop of pants. This is especially useful during loading/unloading – the keys don't dangle as they do on a lanyard and there's no risk of accidentally pressing a remote button in your pocket. Solidly made. For so many years I didn't have such a carabiner... and now I have it with my keys and it's fantastic. If needed, I attach other keys, combine all into one bunch, detach and attach to loops, etc. Really great and I think it's worth its price—maybe it seems high, but considering its usefulness, it's acceptable for me. Besides, I'm already considering whether to buy another one, but even smaller.
