Omegon 2.1x42 Binoculars

Compact astronomical binoculars with a 42 mm objective lens and a fixed magnification of 2.1x, designed for observing vast sections of the night sky. The low magnification of 2.1x and a very wide field of view of 26 deg., allows the observation of entire constellations, extensive star fields, and bright deep-sky objects in their natural surroundings. The design enables the user to see significantly more stars than with the naked eye while maintaining a natural image.

The binoculars utilize a Galilean optical system, which is free of image-inverting prisms, allowing for a remarkably wide observation field and very high image contrast. The manufacturer has used 42 mm diameter lenses, which effectively collect light and allow the user to see the structures of the Milky Way, star clusters, and nebulae. The body of the binoculars is made of durable metal, providing high resistance to mechanical damage and stability to the entire construction. The binoculars are splash-resistant, and the 1/4" tripod thread also allows mounting on a photographic tripod, increasing convenience during long observations.

All optical surfaces of the binoculars are covered with multi-layer anti-reflective coatings that reduce light loss and eliminate unwanted reflections. As a result, the image is characterized by high contrast, natural color reproduction, and good clarity. The binoculars feature large eyepieces and an individual focus adjustment system for each eye. This solution allows the image to be precisely tailored to the user's eyesight. Threads applied to the ends of the lenses allow for the use of astronomical filters. The model is characterized by a wide field of view of 46 m/100 m (26 deg.) enabling the observation of a larger area without the need for frequent adjustment of the binoculars.

The set includes a durable nylon carrying case with enhanced resistance to abrasion and moisture, providing effective protection for the binoculars during transport and storage. Additionally, the binoculars are equipped with a wrist strap, allowing for convenient and secure carrying during field observations.
