Peli Air Case 1745 Transport Case - Black

Transport case in black made from durable and damage-resistant HPX2 polymer materials patented by Peli. It effectively protects contents during transport or storage. The model complies with the IP67 seal standard, ensuring protection against water and dust. Additionally, it has been secured against mechanical damage and pressure changes, providing safe transport during air travel.

The casing is made of injection-molded impact-resistant HPX2 resin. The material is characterized by high resistance to mechanical damage, deformation, and the influence of atmospheric conditions such as moisture, dust, or changing temperatures while maintaining low self-weight. The structure secured with an O-ring meets the IP67 seal standard, which means full protection against dust and resistance to immersion in water up to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes.

The interior of the case is filled with resilient shock-absorbing foam, which effectively dampens shocks and protects the contents from mechanical damage. The structure of the inserts allows them to be adjusted to the shape of the transported equipment, increasing its stability and reducing movement during transport. The applied solution allows for individual adjustment of the protection level to the type of equipment being carried, which is significant for delicate, shock-resistant equipment.

Reinforced lid is closed with 6 robust Press and Pull self-latching latches allowing easy one-handed operation, and additional security is provided by holes allowing the contents to be secured with padlocks. The open cargo space inside the case allows for free arrangement and organization of contents. Rubber-covered transport handles are placed on the longer and shorter sides, providing a secure grip. Additionally, a retractable transport handle is located on the shorter side.

The case meets the requirements of MIL-SPEC certification, confirming the professional level of protection in transporting sensitive equipment - its resistance includes, among others, low temperature, vibration, and vertical impact tests according to DEF STAN 81-41, a standard used for military-grade equipment.

The case is equipped with an automatic pressure equalization valve that compensates for pressure differences between the interior and the surroundings, facilitating opening after changes in altitude or temperature. The valve body is made of ABS, and the venting element is made of hydrophobic Hi-Flow Gore-Tex fabric, supporting seal integrity and reliable equipment protection in demanding transport conditions.

The case is also equipped with wheels made of abrasion-resistant PU, which facilitates movement. The smooth operation of the wheels is ensured by steel ball bearings.
