Pentagon ACU 2.0 Uniform Set - Greek Lizard

Pentagon’s premium all-season uniform set designed in ACU fit (Army Combat Uniform) features a fast-drying polyester and cotton blend fabric with a grammage of 215 g/m2. Reinforced with a Rip-Stop weave and triple stitching at key stress points for maximum tear resistance and durability. The set includes both a combat shirt and trousers. Offered in the Greek Lizard camouflage pattern.

Designed with outdoor and tactical applications in mind, the combat shirt includes velcro-adjustable cuffs and a high stand-up collar. The main zipper is shielded by a storm flap for enhanced protection. At the elbows, reinforcements and compartments for soft pads have been added for extra durability and comfort. The chest features velcro panels (12.5 x 1.5 cm), while both shoulders are equipped with panels (14.5 x 9.5 cm) for affixing patches or emblems such as a national flag, unit badge, or Morale Patches. Both sleeves are fitted with additional compact zippered pockets for secure storage.

Featuring two traditional front pockets, two cargo thigh pockets equipped with a velcro flap, button, and drawstring, along with two additional calf pockets, these trousers are designed for versatility. The ACU model is notable for its reinforced knees, crotch, and seat, enhancing durability in demanding conditions. Nylon straps located at the leg openings enable secure attachment to boots. The fly utilizes a durable zipper produced by the renowned Japanese manufacturer YKK.

Greek Lizard serves as the standard camouflage pattern of the Greek Armed Forces, taking direct inspiration from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47) broadly employed during the mid-20th century. Developed and modified specifically for the diverse Greek landscape—predominantly mountainous, rocky regions with sparse vegetation—the Greek Lizard pattern was tailored to meet local conditions. Characterized by horizontal, irregular bands in varying shades of olive green, brown, and black set against a lighter base—typically sand or pale green—the pattern maintains the classic striped formation seen in its French predecessor, yet features a color palette adjusted for the Mediterranean environment. For decades, the Greek Lizard pattern has been a foundational element of Greek field uniforms, and continues to see widespread use, particularly among ground forces.
