Pentagon HCP Military Pants - Coyote
Lightweight yet robust winter trousers designed to withstand extreme cold down to -20 deg. C. Featuring an advanced StormTex membrane for outstanding waterproof performance rated at 10000 mm H2O, these pants also ensure excellent breathability of 5000 g/m2. An ideal choice for dedicated winter expedition enthusiasts.
talson material, 120Gsm Lithermo lining
The outer shell of the pants utilizes Talson material, finished with a protective coating of Nuva, offering properties akin to Teflon for enhanced water and stain resistance. Inside, a synthetic lining crafted from 120Gsm Lithermo provides excellent defense against moisture absorption from the surrounding environment. The rugged build is further strengthened by sealed seams.
Pockets with lining
Hip pockets feature a fleece lining for excellent heat retention. A full-length zipper, concealed by a protective flap, securely closes each pocket. Two large cargo pockets offer ample space for essential items like a flashlight, compass, or wallet, ensuring they're always within easy reach. Snaps and Velcro provide a reliable closure for added security.
Adjustable waist, ventilation openings, zippered legs
The pants are secured with a YKK zipper and a button in Canadian style. Waist size can be adjusted thanks to the elastic waistband, which features special drawstrings for a personalized fit. Very warm and light. However, they are much thicker than I expected. I have to wait for low temperatures to assess their functionality.
