Pentagon LCP Primaloft V2.0 Parka Jacket - RAL 7013

Softshell jacket in RAL 7013 colour designed for users who need reliable protection in difficult weather conditions. Made of durable Rip-Stop nylon, equipped with a Storm|Tex membrane featuring high waterproofing and breathability and PrimaLoft Gold Insulation, it effectively protects against cold, moisture and wind. An adjustable hood, mesh ventilation openings and six practical pockets increase comfort and functionality during use in demanding terrain. The construction is also adapted for use in low ambient temperatures.

Durable material - Rip-Stop nylon

Insulated softshell made of durable Rip-Stop nylon, which is characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage and abrasion.

Storm|Tex membrane

The Storm|Tex membrane provides waterproofing at 10 000 mm/m2 and breathability of 8000 g/m2/24h, meeting demanding American standards. These parameters protect against moisture while allowing proper air exchange in difficult weather conditions. The jacket's waterproof properties are further enhanced by taped seams and a two-way zipper.

PrimaLoft Gold insulation with Cross Core technology

The insulating layer uses synthetic PrimaLoft Gold insulation with Cross Core technology, which has a grammage of 160 g/m2 in the body and 120 g/m2 on the shoulders. Aerogel fibres have been used in this material, providing excellent thermal insulation with minimal weight. Its hydrophobic properties mean that the material does not lose its insulating properties even when wet. Additionally, it effectively wicks away moisture and is flexible, ensuring a good fit to the user.

High-profile collar and adjustable hood

The raised-profile collar shields the neck from the wind, while the hood with three-point adjustment allows adaptation to changing weather conditions.

Underarm ventilation with mesh

The ventilation system, located under the arms, consists of two-way zippers and a mesh that prevents insects from getting inside. This solution supports air circulation, improving thermal comfort during exertion.

Six practical pockets

The jacket is equipped with six pockets closed with zippers:

  • Two hip pockets lined with a thin layer of fleece
  • Two shoulder pockets
  • Pocket on the left sleeve near the wrist
  • Internal pocket with an outlet for a headphone cable

cuff adjustment and velcro panels

The sleeves feature 13 × 8 cm velcro panels, which allow the attachment of flags, emblems or customisation patches. Cuffs adjustable with velcro and straps at the wrists allow a better fit of the jacket and increase protection against the cold.

Thanks to its ultra-fine, hydrophobic microfibers, it retains up to 98% of its insulating properties even when wet, while also offering high breathability and fast drying. The material is lightweight, soft, and easy to compress, which increases comfort in use and makes clothing and gear easier to transport. The insulation combines warmth comparable to natural down with the durability and moisture resistance typical of modern synthetic materials.

The Storm|Tex membrane (Storm-Tex System) is a breathable layer used in outdoor and tactical clothing, protecting against rain, snow and wind. Depending on the laminate construction, it provides waterproofness from 5 000 to 10 000 mm of water column and breathability ranging from 3 000 to 8 000 g/m2/24h. The material structure effectively wicks moisture to the outside, protecting the body from overheating and chilling. It is available in two- and three-layer configurations (2L and 3L), used in softshell and hardshell jackets. It is characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage and bending, while retaining its protective properties during intensive use in difficult terrain.

    Size M. I am 170 cm tall, with a small belly. Probably S would also fit. I consciously chose M as a stationary insulation where it will be put on other clothing. Fits perfectly. One month of use but the temperatures were just right for that. The lowest recorded temperature was minus 23°C. In temperatures below minus 15°C, I wore it over a thermal shirt, 200 weight fleece and a padded jacket or down sweater. This was with low activity. The padded jacket was necessary because I felt cold. I also wore it under the Pilgrim and marched with a backpack. In temperatures up to -15°C, "on its own". The long side pocket zippers allow access with the hip belt fastened to warm your hands. The vents improve the microclimate when you're trekking through snow with a backpack. I give one star less because the hood isn't perfected. Overall, I recommend it.

    You need to be careful that the zipper under the arms doesn't come undone, the open side pockets also act as vents, so in the coldest weather everything needs to be closed. Tested at -10°C. Warm :)

    Great jacket, at -15°C together with a thin fleece it provides good protection, but when standing still you can feel the cold. I chose size XL at 182 cm tall and weighing 85 kg. If you're only wearing a T-shirt underneath, it seems a bit loose, but it fits perfectly over a sweater.

    The jacket is amazing, warm, looks awesome, and the material is great. I can easily recommend it. My size is L for a height of 184 cm and weight of 90 kg. You can still wear a thin fleece underneath, but I don't think it's necessary down to minus 5 degrees.
