Considering the price, the trousers are made of solid material resistant to abrasions and tears, and they have plenty of conveniently accessible pockets. On the downside, I would point out the difficulty in fitting the size because the waistband has no adjustment. With quite stiff material, the size you get is the size you have, so a smaller size may be too tight (especially because of the high waist), and if a larger size fits at the waist, it will be too loose elsewhere, and the legs will rub together. In my opinion, there's no point in ordering without trying them on first, since it's hard to find your size without fitting.

Pentagon Lycos Trousers Black – great choice The trousers fully meet my expectations. With a height of 178 cm and an average build, size 34/32 turned out to be spot on. The material and workmanship deserve praise. The fabric is strong and the seams are carefully done. After unpacking, I found a few loose threads, but there weren't many, so it's not a problem. The trousers are stretchy and exceptionally comfortable. You can easily kneel, squat, or sit in them. The cut is optimal – not too tight and not too loose. The pockets are very practical, spacious, and well placed. My everyday EDC gadgets fit without any issue, and the pockets are not overstuffed. The main pockets are very deep – you can almost hide your hand up to the middle of your forearm. With very large items, there can be some overlap with the side pockets, but in everyday use, this doesn't bother me. I tested the trousers in temperatures of 20–26°C in the shade, and what surprised me was that I wasn't hot in them. The material provides good ventilation, which I really appreciate. The black color looks attractive. I was worried that the ripstop pattern on a black background would be too visible, but it looks subtle and elegant. With a black top, the trousers have a contractor style, but they are also suitable for everyday use in the city or for shopping. An important advantage – I noticed that the trousers effectively protect against mosquito bites, which is a big plus for me. In summary: very good material, solid workmanship, comfortable fit, excellently designed and breathable pockets. I liked the trousers so much that I plan to buy Pentagon Lycos shorts as well. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

I love the cut of these trousers and the arrangement of the pockets. However, these are pants for walking around the city because the quality of the seams is poor. I had one pair and they tore at the crotch during a simple bend. They were replaced with another pair and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, the quality is average.

The cut of the trousers, the pocket arrangement, the quality of the material and the stitching are all very good. The only problem is that, by following the size chart, I missed the right size by quite a lot. And the worst part for me – these are low-waisted trousers, almost hipsters. Unfortunately, I constantly felt like they were going to fall off, and when I crouched down, I risked showing the so-called "plumber's crack". I returned the trousers.

The threads and stitching are basically the main problem... threads are coming out of the material and the stitches are coming loose after just 2 weeks of normal, not even intensive, use... After years of Helikon, it was time for Pentagon. They are slowly becoming my favorite pants, but they take some getting used to. As some have already described, they have a lower rise and give a feeling that the pants are slipping from the waist, you have to get used to it. They are not as baggy as Helikons, more fitted. In everyday city use, that's a big plus. Nice material, nice pockets, and a very cool Pentacamo pattern. For size, I am 188 cm tall and 100 cm at the waist, size 40/32 fits. Be careful because other models have different sizes. I recommend them.
