Pentagon Lycos Pants Greek Lizard

Tactical trousers designed as a balanced fusion of military and civilian aesthetics. Crafted from a premium blend of polyester and cotton, the material is lightweight, flexible, and dries more quickly compared to fabrics made entirely of cotton. Featuring a RipStop weave, the construction offers enhanced resistance to tearing.

YKK zipper, Prym snap, reinforcements

A secure closure is provided by a Japanese YKK zipper, complemented by a Prym snap fastener located above the zipper. Welts are situated at the bottom of the legs to prevent the pants from riding up. Double fabric reinforcements have been added to the knees and seat areas for enhanced durability. Areas subjected to the highest stress are triple-stitched for maximum strength.

Outfitted with 10 strategically positioned pockets:

  • two open hip pockets
  • two back pockets secured with Velcro flaps
  • two side cargo pockets with button flaps
  • two front cargo pockets featuring Velcro flaps
  • two slim pockets located above the front cargo pockets

Additionally, at knee level on the inner side of the legs, there are pockets designed to accommodate protective pads.

Camouflage Greek Lizard

Greek Lizard serves as the primary camouflage pattern for the Greek Armed Forces, originating directly from the French Lizard pattern (Tap47) widely deployed during the mid-20th century. Modified and refined specifically to suit Greece's environment—characterized by mountainous landscapes, rocky surfaces, and sparse vegetation—the Greek pattern addresses local operational needs. The Greek Lizard camo features uneven, horizontal stripes in olive green, brown, and black laid over a lighter base color, typically sand or light green. The design maintains the signature striped arrangement of the French version, though its palette has been tailored for the Mediterranean setting. The Greek Lizard camouflage has long been the standard for Greek field uniforms and continues to be utilized today, particularly among ground forces.

    I love the cut of these trousers and the arrangement of the pockets. However, these are pants for walking around the city because the quality of the seams is poor. I had one pair and they tore at the crotch during a simple bend. They were replaced with another pair and the same thing happened. Unfortunately, the quality is average.

    The cut of the trousers, the pocket arrangement, the quality of the material and the stitching are all very good. The only problem is that, by following the size chart, I missed the right size by quite a lot. And the worst part for me – these are low-waisted trousers, almost hipsters. Unfortunately, I constantly felt like they were going to fall off, and when I crouched down, I risked showing the so-called "plumber's crack". I returned the trousers.

    Great cut, nice material, although I already have a stain that didn't wash out. The threads and stitching are basically the main problem... threads are coming out of the material and the stitches are coming loose after just 2 weeks of normal, not even intensive, use... The sewing needs to be changed!!! The price is very good!!

    After years of Helikon, it was time for Pentagon. They are slowly becoming my favorite pants, but they take some getting used to. As some have already described, they have a lower rise and give a feeling that the pants are slipping from the waist, you have to get used to it. They are not as baggy as Helikons, more fitted. In everyday city use, that's a big plus. Nice material, nice pockets, and a very cool Pentacamo pattern. For size, I am 188 cm tall and 100 cm at the waist, size 40/32 fits. Be careful because other models have different sizes. I recommend them.
