Einstein said that everything is relative. Compared to the CS SRK, it is less sharp and doesn't feel as secure in the hand... It opens very smoothly, is solidly made, sharp, but the lock could be stronger. When working with wood, you might accidentally close the knife on your fingers. A nice little knife for the pocket.
Petrified Fish Loco PF-B02 Folding Knife - Black Stonewash/Gray
A folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife featuring a Drop Point blade crafted from high-carbon D2 tool steel, known for exceptional abrasion resistance. The blade is finished with a Stonewash effect. The handle is constructed from G10 laminate, which is lightweight, highly durable, and resistant to both damage and weather. Reliable use is provided by the Liner Lock mechanism.
D2 Tool Steel
Forged from high-carbon D2 tool steel, the blade offers semi-stainless properties thanks to its corrosion resistance. Enhanced with vanadium and a substantial amount of chromium, it delivers excellent abrasion resistance, maintaining cutting performance over prolonged use. The steel undergoes hardening to a level of 59-61 HRC, which boosts durability and helps prevent dulling. A stonewash treatment finishes the blade, effectively camouflaging minor marks and minimizing reflectivity. Jimping on the spine provides secure thumb placement for controlled handling.
G10 laminate handle
Knife grips are crafted from robust G10 glass-epoxy composite, featuring a textured, non-slip surface for enhanced grip. A hole at the base of the handle allows for attachment of a lanyard or key ring.
Deep carry clip
The tip-up configuration features a spring-loaded steel clip designed for secure and discreet pocket carry, ensuring the knife remains unobtrusive and does not extend noticeably from the pocket.
Liner Lock
Deployment of the blade is achieved using a flipper, with the action enhanced by a ceramic ball bearing integrated into the knife’s primary pivot point. Blade security is ensured via a Liner Lock system. Additionally, the flipper functions as a cross guard, safeguarding your hand from sliding onto the blade during operation.

This is one of the smoothest and most silently opening knives I've ever held in my hands. I consider it to be very well-balanced with an incredibly minimalist design. For this price, it's truly a very successful purchase.

If I could give six stars, that's what this knife would get from me. It's great in every respect. Very well-designed blade shape and length, excellent build quality, good choice of materials used, excellent mechanics, and absolutely no blade play with perfect centering. Since purchase, this knife has become my number one and even replaced the Gripka 550, which really says something.

An excellent knife in every respect. It's a rare case that there's nothing to complain about. Good steel, build quality, quality of materials used and finish. Very good blade shape with a pronounced belly and razor-sharp factory edge. Worth every penny. It has become my number one.

My favorite budget Chinese company producing high-quality folding knives at a very low price. They work very well for me, and the D2 steel does a great job.

A very pleasant, large-sized folding knife. The mechanics are incredibly smooth, and just opening and closing it is pure pleasure. I recommend both this model and the entire brand.
