Einstein said that everything is relative. Compared to the CS SRK, it is less sharp and doesn't feel as secure in the hand... It opens very smoothly, is solidly made, sharp, but the lock could be stronger. When working with wood, you might accidentally close the knife on your fingers. A nice little knife for the pocket.
Petrified Fish Loco PF-B02 Folding Knife - Black Stonewash
A folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife featuring a Drop Point blade crafted from high-carbon D2 tool steel, renowned for its excellent abrasion resistance. The blade sports a rugged Stonewash finish. The handle is constructed from G10 laminate, offering a combination of lightweight design, high durability, and resistance to harsh weather conditions. The Liner Lock mechanism provides secure and reliable handling during operation.
D2 Tool Steel
Forged from high-carbon D2 tool steel, the blade offers semi-stainless properties because of its enhanced corrosion resistance. The inclusion of vanadium and a substantial level of chromium delivers exceptional abrasion resistance, ensuring prolonged edge retention. With a hardness rating of 59-61 HRC, the steel is engineered to be exceptionally hard and to resist dulling. A stonewash finish provides a rugged look, camouflages minor scratches, and reduces reflections. Jimping along the spine delivers increased thumb traction for better control.
G10 laminate handle
Constructed from robust G10 glass-epoxy composite, the knife scales feature a textured surface for improved grip. A hole at the end of the handle allows for easy attachment of a lanyard or key ring.
Deep carry clip
Equipped with a spring-loaded steel clip in a tip-up configuration, the knife offers practical and discreet pocket carry, preventing excessive visibility and ensuring the knife remains secure and unobtrusive during daily use.
Liner Lock
Deployment of the blade is achieved using a flipper, with the addition of a ceramic ball bearing on the pivot enhancing the smoothness of the opening action. The blade is secured by a Liner Lock system. Additionally, the flipper functions as a cross guard, effectively protecting the hand from sliding onto the blade during operation.

This is one of the smoothest and most silently opening knives I've ever held in my hands. I consider it to be very well-balanced with an incredibly minimalist design. For this price, it's truly a very successful purchase.

If I could give six stars, that's what this knife would get from me. It's great in every respect. Very well-designed blade shape and length, excellent build quality, good choice of materials used, excellent mechanics, and absolutely no blade play with perfect centering. Since purchase, this knife has become my number one and even replaced the Gripka 550, which really says something.

An excellent knife in every respect. It's a rare case that there's nothing to complain about. Good steel, build quality, quality of materials used and finish. Very good blade shape with a pronounced belly and razor-sharp factory edge. Worth every penny. It has become my number one.

My favorite budget Chinese company producing high-quality folding knives at a very low price. They work very well for me, and the D2 steel does a great job.

A very pleasant, large-sized folding knife. The mechanics are incredibly smooth, and just opening and closing it is pure pleasure. I recommend both this model and the entire brand.
