Forged from high-carbon D2 tool steel, the blade offers semi-stainless properties because of its enhanced corrosion resistance. The inclusion of vanadium and a substantial level of chromium delivers exceptional abrasion resistance, ensuring prolonged edge retention. With a hardness rating of 59-61 HRC, the steel is engineered to be exceptionally hard and to resist dulling. A stonewash finish provides a rugged look, camouflages minor scratches, and reduces reflections. Jimping along the spine delivers increased thumb traction for better control.
Constructed from robust G10 glass-epoxy composite, the knife scales feature a textured surface for improved grip. A hole at the end of the handle allows for easy attachment of a lanyard or key ring.
Equipped with a spring-loaded steel clip in a tip-up configuration, the knife offers practical and discreet pocket carry, preventing excessive visibility and ensuring the knife remains secure and unobtrusive during daily use.
Deployment of the blade is achieved using a flipper, with the addition of a ceramic ball bearing on the pivot enhancing the smoothness of the opening action.
