It works. While this isn't a flaw per se, like all ponchos in this price range, it's made from waterproof material via rubberization. This means the waterproof layer can wear out or crack over time, for example, due to contact with DEET-based mosquito repellents. In high temperatures or during strenuous activity, the poncho will be as comfortable as the OP-1 suit – again, this isn't a flaw, just a characteristic of all ponchos at this price point. A big plus for me are the mounting points in the form of metal grommets.

Looks good and fits well for a height of 180cm. The material is thin and light. Suitable for light water protection. This is not a poncho for heavy downpours. With a large amount of water, the material will soak through. If someone is looking for 100% certainty that they won't get wet, I recommend the Mil-Tec US rip stop poncho.
