Pulsar Telos LRF XG50 Thermal Imager

Engineered for handheld use, this thermal imaging monocular is equipped with a 50mm objective lens, ensuring clear observation by day and night. The Telos LRF XG50 offers 3.5x to 14x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom, making it possible to observe targets at distances up to 2300 meters. Integrated laser rangefinder technology delivers accurate distance readings. Boasting a robust, sealed construction, the device provides IPX7 water resistance for reliable performance in challenging environments.

Rugged construction, IPX7 standard

Constructed from durable plastic that offers resistance to mechanical impacts and shocks, the thermal imager boasts a compact structure. Incorporating protective seals, the housing achieves the IPX7 waterproof rating, safeguarding the device against water ingress at depths of up to 1 m for 30 minutes. Reliable performance is ensured within an operating temperature span of -25 to +50 degrees.

Amoled HD display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels

The Telos LRF XG50 thermal imaging device features a high-resolution sensor of 640 x 480 pixels (12 µm). Engineered with superior sensitivity, the sensor can detect temperature variations of less than 40mK. Outfitted with an AMOLED HD display boasting a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, the unit delivers enhanced color accuracy, reduced power consumption, quick response, and consistently smooth visuals, even in subzero environments. A 50 Hz refresh rate ensures fluid tracking of moving targets. The system also includes 3.5-14x optical magnification alongside a 4x digital zoom for optimal observation flexibility.

Smoothing filter, Picture in Picture mode, laser rangefinder

The smoothing filter feature enables the minimization of digital distortion while preserving excellent sensitivity. Picture in Picture mode provides the option to magnify the central portion of the image within a dedicated window. This additional window occupies just 10% of the total display area. For enhanced user convenience, the thermal imager offers diopter adjustment ranging from -5 to +5.

The LRF XG50 incorporates an integrated laser rangefinder, delivering precise distance measurement to targets at ranges up to 1000 meters with an accuracy of 1 meter.

8 modes of image display

Equipped with eight distinct image display modes, the thermal imaging monocular ensures quick and accurate detection and identification of observed subjects:

  • White Hot - optimized for effective object detection
  • Black Hot - optimized for effective object detection
  • Hot Red - designed for efficient object detection
  • RedMonochrome - ideal for prolonged nighttime surveillance
  • Rainbow - enhances object recognition and identification
  • Ultramarine - enhances object recognition and identification
  • Violet - suited for extended observations in low-light conditions
  • Sepia - suited for extended observations in low-light conditions

Wi-Fi module, 64 GB internal memory

Equipped with the capability to store photos and videos on its integrated 64GB internal memory, the model enables seamless file management. Files can be exported to a computer via USB cable or wirelessly transferred to a smartphone or tablet through the built-in Wi-Fi module. This feature supports the use of a mobile device with the StreamVision 2 app as an external display and for remote device operation.

Rechargeable power supply

Equipped with a rechargeable LPS 7i lithium-ion battery boasting a 6400 mAh capacity, the thermal imager delivers up to 8 hours of continuous use. A rapid-charging system is integrated, along with support for powering the device through a USB-C cable. Thanks to the Display OFF power saving mode, the screen can be switched off without shutting down the thermal imager.

Pulsar, part of the European Yukon Group, is a brand of thermal imaging and day/night digital optics based in Lithuania. It was founded in 1991 by a group of enthusiasts who assembled their first devices in a basement, and today employs over 1200 people and operates in more than 70 countries. All Pulsar products are manufactured in Europe, and the brand has become famous for innovations such as digital sights with a one-shot zero function for quick zeroing, and Dual-Purpose solutions that combine the functions of a monocular and a sight. Its modernity is also emphasized by the Stream Vision 2 app, which allows devices to be connected to smartphones via Wi-Fi for remote control, image transfer, and software updates. In 2005, Yukon Group was the first company to introduce digital night vision sights to the civilian market, initiating a new era of accessible optoelectronics. In 2012, the first mass-produced thermal imaging monocular for civilians, the Quantum, was released, followed in 2019 by the compact Axion XM30, capable of detecting a human silhouette from a distance of 1350 meters in complete darkness.
