The Pattern Custom revolver is an excellent revolver for demanding individuals. It is a very good replica of the Remington, but only visually, because the inside is polished, reducing internal friction, which makes the trigger work precisely and minimizes weapon vibrations. The cylinder chamber and the forcing cone in the barrel are the same, so the ball or bullet easily slides into the barrel and engraves into the rifling. The beryllium steel nipples will last for many years. Accuracy is very high, but it always depends on the shooter and familiarity with the weapon—the longer you shoot, the more you get used to your particular piece. The action of the mechanisms is hard to describe, you just need to feel it for yourself—it's delicate and clockwork-like. Similarly, the revolver gap is within the tolerance of 0.05 mm to 0.15 mm. The price matches the quality. As for recommendations, a .454 ball is ideal for it as well as grease no. 2 (which you can make yourself). The revolver is practically ready to use right out of the box—nothing needs to be changed. The feeling of holding the weapon is comparable to Colt grips. I recommend it for competitions as well as for recreation.
Custom Model Remington Pattern revolvers. Designed for sport shooters, these custom variants incorporate multiple enhancements informed by feedback from target shooting professionals, distinguishing them from standard editions.
Compared to the original version, the Custom model’s trigger system benefits from an advanced finishing process, which minimizes trigger pull resistance and dampens shot-induced vibrations. Barrel, frame, and cylinder are meticulously polished before the application of chrome plating. Grips are crafted from premium walnut wood.
A matte surface, combined with the quick-change cylinder system, empowers shooters to reach superior performance levels, where only individual skill sets the limit.
