I have both this pair of shoes and their lower model, and after about four months of use 2-3 times a week, and sometimes more often on rainy days, I have not noticed any problems with their quality. Putting them on and taking them off is a bit troublesome, but for shoes that protect the ankles well, this is not a surprise. I have participated in several backpacking trips, the longest lasted 2.5 days and was 52 km long – I carried 27 kg of luggage. After such a route, my feet were in perfect condition. I chose shoes half a size larger than usual because I planned to use them in winter and wanted to fit thicker socks.

Ortholite is an insole with an advanced structure that provides effective moisture wicking and optimal air circulation. The flexible construction adapts to the foot's profile, and the antibacterial properties inhibit bacterial growth and odor formation.
Contagrip is a technology developed by Salomon, used in the construction of the outsole. It is based on the combination of a special rubber compound and tread profile, creating a flexible underside in order to achieve the most precise parameters for grip and stability on varied terrain. The sole comes in 5 versions, adapted to a specific type of surface.
SensiFit is a technology that uses a special upper design to provide the foot with better stability and protection. The side panel used, located from the midsole to the lacing system, allows the shoe to fit comfortably and precisely to the shape of the foot.
Quicklace is a quick lacing system patented by Salomon. It allows for simple and quick adjustment of the laces with a special clamp buckle, which allows the shoe to fit comfortably and be pulled on and off efficiently.
4D Advanced Chassis is an innovative technology used in the sole of the shoe, which is based on a special frame that works together with the midsole platform. It absorbs shocks from walking and, thanks to its flexible forefoot, transfers energy ergonomically, increasing the efficiency of each step. It supports the stability of the foot on uneven ground, and reduces leg fatigue during long hikes.
Energycell+ technology is an innovative way of constructing the midsole, based on the use of lightweight and flexible EVA foam with high energy rebound capability. Thanks to it, the energy that accumulates when the foot hits the ground is effectively used, providing better shock absorption and greater comfort.

The shoes are very comfortable and hold the foot well, they work well on duty and during long marches. Unfortunately, after about 9 months of use, the material on the heel tore, which is a big disappointment for shoes of this class and price.
-
Unfortunately, three-hundred-zloty shoes are stronger and more comfortable than these. And putting them on and taking them off, as someone mentioned earlier, is a real ritual. I do not recommend this model.

Salomon Quest 4D GTX Forces 2 High EN - Earth Brown shoes - such a good brand, such a high price for "decent" shoes, and the workmanship leaves much to be desired; they start to come apart already during the first march.

Tactical shoes for only 1300 PLN from the legendary French brand Salomon are truly the elite among combat footwear – no wonder, since their production takes place in Cambodia's most modern factories, where master shoemakers do everything to provide users with unforgettable experiences. Even putting them on is a ritual – Vaseline on the foot is a must-have if you want to slide into this exclusive temple of comfort. In return, you get unique sensations while walking: targeted, precisely calculated pressure on the ankle thanks to the metal eyelets for the laces. This feeling faithfully accompanies you for the first hundred kilometers, after which – to your delight – it gives way to an innovative dynamic heel ventilation system. Somewhere around the five-hundredth kilometer, the technology reaches a new level – the hole in the back of the shoe becomes spacious enough that you can easily fit half a hand, opening up completely new possibilities, such as scratching your heel without taking off the shoe. No other manufacturer offers such futuristic solutions! At some point, I felt unworthy of such luxury and, in a bout of humility, decided to return the shoes to the manufacturer. However, the company – appreciating my modesty – rewarded me with a brand new pair, which, fortunately, did not disappoint and also managed to develop the aforementioned breakthrough features. Quality-to-price ratio? Excellent. For connoisseurs who appreciate craftsmanship and are not afraid of innovation.

Shoes not worth their price—after three months, the stitches at the heel connection broke, allowing water to get inside. I bought them to try, and quickly went back to Lowa.

At first glance, the shoes look very nice, and the specifications and solutions are also quite good; however, after only four months of light use (literally worn in the field once, the rest just regular walking), the plastic element on both shoes cracked and the sole started coming off. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the shoes, and not just me—my friends who also bought these shoes have the same problems, plus additional ones like the toe caps coming unglued and squeaking while walking. If anyone is considering buying these, they must accept that some defect may occur. On Reddit, I came across information that the production quality of this model has greatly declined, and unfortunately, it is strongly noticeable.

In my opinion, these are the best shoes for service. Super comfortable, very durable, and effective in all conditions. For over 4 years, I have been using their identical civilian counterpart and I can't say a bad word about them. For me, a very important aspect is that they don't slip on wet surfaces (those in the know will understand the reference to another brand). Overall, I recommend them.
