Savotta Jaakari M Backpack 30 l - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

Backpack with a capacity of 30 litres in M05 Finnish Woodland Camo, designed for everyday use, demanding field applications, and as a module of larger equipment. Thanks to its slim construction, profiled shoulder straps, and padded hip belt, it is ideal for longer marches with a heavier load.

The main compartment is closed at the top with a drawstring collar. The flap features a zippered pocket in which documents, keys, or a phone can be carried. On the side of the backpack, there is a zipper that provides quick access to the interior without opening the flap. On the sides are 2 mesh pockets.

The front of the flap features a velcro panel allowing attachment of any patch or national flag emblem, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches. The internal back wall is equipped with a compartment for a hydration bladder. Two ports on the sides allow routing of the tube from the left or right side, and also threading cables or antenna.

MOLLE/PALS system on the sides, flap, and hip belt allows for the attachment of additional pouches and accessories. Four lower loops permit lashing a sleeping bag, tent, or other gear. Side compression straps allow adjustment of the backpack's volume to the load or fastening of extra gear outside.

The backpack is made from 1000D Cordura with high resistance to abrasion and tearing, with an internal polyurethane coating. The straps and trims made from strong polyester meet military standards.

Padded S-shaped shoulder straps with detachable chest strap and soft hip belt with additional lumbar support ensure comfort under heavy loads. The belt is easily adjustable thanks to the forward tightening system and is equipped with a quick-release buckle.

Inside the compartment near the back is a removable stiffening insert made of plastic, providing even weight distribution and eliminating point pressure on the back. This is an original back stiffening system developed by Savotta, allowing in the Jääkäri M model the replacement of the factory-added insert with a compatible aluminium frame (available for purchase separately).

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced into the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, such as woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.
