Savotta Kantamus Backpack 40 l - MultiCam

MultiCam camouflage backpack offering a 40-liter capacity, crafted from highly durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric. Equipped with adjustable shoulder straps, along with hip and chest straps, the pack also incorporates an aluminum frame to enhance structural stability when carrying substantial loads.

Durable 1000D and 500D Cordura construction

Most of the rear sections are constructed from rugged, abrasion-resistant 1000D Cordura. Areas less susceptible to damage, such as the rear pocket for the foam insert and the roll-top closure, utilize lighter-weight 500D Cordura.

Main compartment, side pockets, flat front pocket, removable flap

A generous main compartment allows for swift access thanks to a Roll-top closure system. Within, a dedicated hydration insert pocket is provided, complete with an outlet for a tube. Two large side pockets easily accommodate a canteen or beverage bottle. The front features a flat, expansive pocket secured with a zipper. On the back, a removable foam pad offers extra reinforcement; once detached, it serves as a convenient seat or additional insulation when outdoors. A detachable top flap contributes approximately 8 liters of extra storage capacity at the upper section of the pack.

PALS system straps, compression straps, and Velcro

Multiple PALS webbing straps enable the backpack to be customized with extra pouches or compartments. With compression straps secured by buckles, users can modify the backpack's capacity or attach additional gear as needed. The Velcro panel on the flap provides space for mounting any patch or insignia.

Adjustable carrying system

Ergonomically shaped and adjustable shoulder straps ensure the backpack contours perfectly to your body, offering exceptional comfort on long treks. A removable chest strap, along with hip straps cushioned with soft foam, deliver excellent stabilization. The hip strap, featuring PALS webbing for attaching gear, has an overall length of 140 cm. Positioned at the top, a convenient carrying handle facilitates easy lifting and transportation. The backpack features an aluminum frame that enhances structural rigidity and overall stability.

MultiCam Camouflage

MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage pattern designed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) within the Objective Force Warrior initiative. Developed to provide a highly adaptable camouflage solution, MultiCam excels in diverse terrains and under varying environmental conditions. The pattern features a composition of seven distinct colors, forming seamless gradients between tones of green, brown, and beige. Owing to this composition, MultiCam effectively blends into the surrounding environment, appearing greener in wooded landscapes and shifting to brown and beige hues in arid or desert settings—proving especially effective during autumn or in dry, grassy regions of Central and Eastern Europe. Globally recognized, MultiCam is employed by a wide range of military forces and special operations units. In 2010, the US Army officially selected this pattern as the standard camouflage for troops deployed in Afghanistan, superseding the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Civilian availability has helped solidify its status as a preferred pattern among military gear enthusiasts and airsoft players alike.

Great backpack for roughing it in the forest – spacious, thoughtfully designed pockets, lots of attachment points for gear needed for multi-day camping trips. The price matches the quality of the product, and the fact that it's not always available shows it's really worth it!
