Sencut Skelfin Folding Knife - Black

A folding knife featuring a 83.9 mm blade with a Clip-Point profile, crafted from corrosion-resistant 9Cr18MoV stainless steel. Lightweight yet robust, this folder delivers a balance of strength, comfort, and secure handling, making it an ideal choice for a variety of tasks.

hardened 9Cr18MoV stainless steel and satin finish

Crafted from premium 9Cr18MoV stainless steel, the knife blade is hardened to a robust 58-60 HRC. The selected steel is known for its exceptional hardness, superior corrosion resistance, and enduring sharpness. Enhanced with a satin finish, the blade features subtle parallel micro-scratches that create a refined matte look.

clip-point blade, hollow grind, jimping

Equipped with a blade sporting a Clip-Point profile, a straight cutting edge, and a length of 83.9 mm, the model is built for precision. The edge features a hollow grind to enhance sharpness. Jimping on the blade’s spine provides textured support for a secure thumb grip, granting superior control during intricate cutting tasks.

Handle scales made from durable G10 laminate

Featuring an ergonomically contoured handle crafted from black G10 laminate, this material stands out for its exceptional mechanical strength, impact and wear resistance, as well as durability against varying weather conditions. The textured surface of the handle scales guarantees a firm and secure grip during all knife operations.

Button Lock mechanism and thumb stud

Double-sided thumb studs allow for quick deployment of the knife, while a ball bearing system ensures exceptionally smooth blade deployment. A sturdy Button Lock mechanism reliably secures the blade in the open position.

spring clip, lanyard hole

A spring tip-up clip ensures convenient portability of the tool, making it simple to attach to a belt, pocket edge, or other gear. A hole at the handle’s end allows for threading a cord or lanyard, providing added security against loss.

9Cr18Mov (9Cr18) feature
9Cr18Mov (9Cr18)
9Cr18MoV (9Cr18) is a high-carbon martensitic stainless steel containing approximately 0.85-0.95% carbon, 17-19% chromium, 1-1.3% molybdenum, and a small amount of vanadium. It is considered the Chinese equivalent of AISI 440A and 440B steel, offering similar parameters but with better edge durability and service life. It is characterized by high hardness (58-60 HRC), very good rust resistance, and long-lasting sharpness. The steel is used in knives, surgical instruments, and precision technical blades, providing a good compromise between hardness, strength, and environmental resistance.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.

Narrow but large knife, so it disappears in your pocket, but if you need it, you have a big blade for more serious work. Mechanically fabulously smooth, no complaints.
