Sencut Stria Folding Knife - Blue

EDC (Every Day Carry - for everyday carry) folding knife with a 79.3 mm blade and a Straight Back profile. The blade is made of D2 high-carbon steel hardened to 59-61 HRC, ensuring durability and wear resistance. The handle features a Liner Lock. Jimping on the blade spine allows the thumb to rest securely.

D2 carbon steel

The blade is made of D2 tool steel, which is characterized by high wear resistance and good edge retention. After heat treatment, it reaches a hardness of 59-61 HRC, which ensures durability and cutting efficiency even during intensive use.

Straight Back blade profile, flat grind

The Straight Back blade profile features a durable tip, easy sharpening, and good cutting performance. The blade length is 79.3 mm, and its thickness is 2 mm. The blade is finished with a flat grind (Flat Grind), and the surface is coated with a satin finish that gives it a matte effect.

Ergonomic Micarta grip, spring steel clip

The ergonomically contoured handle scales are made of Micarta, ensuring a secure grip even when the hand is wet or dirty. The non-slip texture of the scales and the index finger choil guarantee a firm grip. The knife is equipped with a spring steel tip-up clip for convenient carry.

flipper, thumb stud, Liner Lock

The knife opens with a thumb stud that allows quick one-handed deployment or with a flipper, which in the open position also serves as a small cross guard protecting the hand from slipping onto the edge. The process is enhanced by the use of a ceramic ball bearing. In the open position, the blade is secured by the easy-to-use Liner Lock.

D2 feature
D2
D2 is a high-carbon tool steel classified as semi-stainless, characterized by high wear resistance and the ability to maintain a thin, durable edge. It achieves a hardness of 57-62 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness even with intensive use. Its chemical composition is a precisely selected combination of elements: carbon (1.4-1.6%), chromium (11-13%), molybdenum (up to 0.8%), vanadium (up to 1%), manganese (up to 1%), and silicon (up to 1%). The high carbon and chromium content ensures hardness and wear resistance, while molybdenum and vanadium improve the strength and durability of the cutting edge. Although D2 steel is not completely stainless, its corrosion resistance is sufficient to meet the requirements of most conditions of use. It is widely used in the production of mid-range and high-end knives, including handmade knives and cutting tools.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
Micarta feature
Micarta
Micarta is a composite material made of layers of fabric (including canvas, linen, and paper) soaked in resin and pressed under high pressure and temperature. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, resistance to impact, abrasion, and changing weather conditions, as well as dimensional stability, which makes it ideal for knife handles. The surface of Micarta provides a secure grip and can be finished smooth or left with a slight texture to improve control over the tool. The material does not conduct heat or electricity, tolerates contact with moisture well, and acquires a characteristic patina over time, emphasizing the individual style of the knife. Thanks to its combination of durability, environmental resistance, and unique appearance, Micarta is widely used in EDC, outdoor, and collector's knives.
