Medium-sized Newtonian telescope system featuring a moderate focal ratio, ideal for observing both planets and deep-sky nebulae. Straightforward to use, highly stable, and delivers crisp, clear images with very little coma, making it an excellent choice for those new to astronomy.
Optical system
A telescope with a comparatively long focal length and a balanced aperture ratio. Featuring an aperture ratio of f/8, this design effectively addresses the primary issue of coma common in Newtonian telescopes. With a sizable 15cm aperture, the images remain stable, and performance is less affected by poor atmospheric conditions than telescopes with 20–40cm apertures.
Mount
Mounted on an azimuthal Dobsonian mount, enabling smooth movement along both azimuth and altitude axes. The optical tube is supported on both sides within a fork cradle, while the mount's upper assembly glides smoothly at the base. The low center of gravity and use of robust materials ensure significantly greater stability than typical equatorial mounts.
