Optical system
Capable of gathering roughly 120 times more light than the naked human eye at night, the telescope enables you to observe celestial bodies up to nearly 11.4 stellar magnitude (compared to unaided vision of up to 6 stellar magnitude). The compact mirror dimensions deliver optical resolution allowing separation of stars more than 2” apart.
Mount
Fitted with an azimuthal mount, an adjustable tripod, and a spacious accessory tray. A specialized system allows precise vertical and horizontal adjustment, greatly simplifying the tracking and observation of extremely distant targets. This mount excels for astronomical uses but also offers support for basic terrestrial viewing.
Focuser and eyepieces
Features a focuser compatible with 1.25" eyepieces. Included are two eyepieces—25 mm and 10 mm focal lengths—for magnification of 28x and 70x, respectively. A Barlow lens is supplied, extending achievable magnifications to 57x and 140x.
Owing to its minimal weight, the telescope is ideally suited as a portable device, easily transported by vehicle to locations with clearer skies, away from major urban areas.
