Snugpak Special Forces 1 Standard Sleeping Bag - Black
Light sleeping bag in black color, with a mummy construction, ensuring comfortable body positioning and unrestricted movement during sleep. Made from Snugpack's proprietary materials, including Paratex Steelplate, Paratex Light, and Softie Premier. Model in standard size, with a length of 220 cm when unfolded. Temperatures and usage conditions
Special Forces 1 model is designed as a single-season sleeping bag, intended for use in plus temperatures and warmer months. The usage temperatures specified by the manufacturer range from 0 to 5 deg. C.
Material Paratex Steelplate and Paratex Light, DWR coating
The external layer of the sleeping bag is made from Paratex Steelplate material, which provides high breathability, good wind protection, and high moisture resistance due to the application of DWR waterproofing (Durable Water Repellency). As a result, even during humid mornings in the field, dew droplets will collect on the surface of the sleeping bag without soaking it. The internal layer of the sleeping bag is made from Paratex Light material, characterized by a soft structure, high wind resistance, and a breathability level of 12l/m2/24h. High breathability prevents moisture buildup inside the sleeping bag, caused by the condensation of heat generated by the body and low ambient temperature.
Under the internal layer, there is a metalized Reflectatherm fabric reflecting heat generated by the body, which increases the thermal efficiency of the sleeping bag by about 15%. Inside the sleeping bag, near the feet area, there is a reinforced piece of material that, in addition to improving insulation properties, allows sleeping with shoes on without fear of damaging the sleeping bag. There are also two small loops, enabling easy hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.

The filling of the sleeping bag is Softie Premier, which provides good heat retention even in humid environments, and its soft structure makes the sleeping bag pleasant to the touch. The special proprietary construction of the filling fibers allows for hand and machine washing of the sleeping bag when needed.
The mummy construction has been optimized to minimize heat loss. The absence of traditional through stitching eliminates the formation of so-called thermal bridges, ensuring even insulation across the entire surface of the sleeping bag.
Two-way YKK zipper, adjustable hood
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zipper from the renowned company YKK, placed centrally. Inside, there is a protective strip that prevents fabric from getting caught in the zipper and reduces heat loss. The anatomically shaped hood provides additional protection against head cold.
Convenient transport and storage, Special Forces system
The model is convenient for transport and storage. When folded, the sleeping bag measures 16 x 16 cm, and its weight is 1200 g. A practical compression sack is included with the sleeping bag, protecting it during transport and guarding against dirt and damage.
The sleeping bag is part of the Special Forces system, in which it can be combined with the Special Forces 2 model using an additional Zip Baffle strip, creating a set suitable for temperatures down to about -20 deg. C.
