Snugpak The Sleeping Bag Olive - left

Rugged sleeping bag in Olive shade, designed with a mummy-style shape for optimal comfort and freedom of movement while resting. Crafted from Snugpak’s advanced fabrics, including Aqualight, Supersoft, and Isofibre.

Temperatures and usage conditions

Manufacturer-specified operating temperatures range from -2 to -7 deg. C.

Aqualight construction, Supersoft lining

The external layer, featuring hydrophobic properties, is crafted from Aqualight material. Inside, the layer consists of Supersoft material, notable for its robust weave, gentle texture, and excellent breathability, delivering optimal comfort throughout use.

Isofibre filling

Filled with lightweight Isofibre synthetic insulation, the sleeping bag delivers excellent heat retention in the field. The specially engineered fiber structure in the insulation enables the sleeping bag to be washed both by hand and in a machine. Two small loops positioned near the feet on the interior facilitate convenient hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.

Left-side zipper, thermal strip

A two-way zipper is installed on the left side of the sleeping bag. An internal protective strip guards against the fabric snagging in the zipper and helps reduce thermal loss.

Cold-protective hood

Anatomically contoured hood delivers superior thermal insulation, enveloping the head to minimize heat loss in cold conditions. Its ergonomic design also grants enhanced resistance to wind and moisture.

Convenient transport and storage

Designed for easy transport and storage, the sleeping bag, when compressed, has dimensions of 43 x 24 cm and a weight of 1650 g, making it simple to carry without adding significant bulk to your gear.

Set elements

Equipped with a durable compression sack featuring a snap buckle, the sleeping bag remains well-protected during transport, safeguarding it from dirt and potential damage.

Main features

A 3200 mAh removable lithium-ion battery powers the flashlight, with charging handled by a magnetic charger capable of delivering a full charge in just 3 hours and 20 minutes. Springs within the housing enhance the protection for both the battery and circuitry, while the magnetic charging port is engineered to offer complete short-circuit protection, even when in contact with metallic objects. Additional features include overheating protection above 58 deg. C and a low battery indicator.

The Snugpak The Sleepingbag Olive sleeping bag is a solid and well-designed model for outdoor conditions. It retains heat well and performs in lower temperatures, while remaining relatively lightweight and easy to pack. The materials are durable and its construction provides comfort when sleeping in the field. It works well for camping and longer trips outdoors. Due to my work, I use it every day and for me it's fantastic — at -5 degrees I just need a thermal shirt and underwear.

Warm and stuffy. Zero breathability, so it's better not to sleep in just your underwear, otherwise you will wake up soaking wet with sweat. The insulation, however, is first class. At this price, it’s hard to find anything better for autumn/early spring. For summer, I wouldn't take it because it's too hot. As for the drawbacks, apart from breathability (or rather lack of it), there's the sizing. I'm quite tall (182cm) and I still have easily a dozen, if not 20-30 cm, of spare room at my feet. In mummy-shaped bags, there should be as little excess room as possible to heat up faster (in my case, it takes about 30 minutes before it gets actually pleasant inside). If that's a problem for someone, I would look for smaller sleeping bags.

I'm after 10 days in Iceland - sleeping in a tent. The sleeping bag is really great. Warm and comfortable. At a night temperature of 10°C I slept in a short sleeve shirt and the comfort was excellent. At around 4°C I was comfortable with thermal underwear and thin socks. I'm not usually sensitive to cold. At first, I thought the size would be too big, but at my height of 182 cm, I could wrap myself well in it on colder nights. I recommend it.

This is already my second sleeping bag, the first one bought last year, worked well on camping trips even on cold nights. I bought the second one for other family members. Warm, well made, relatively light for this temperature range compared to the competition, and at an affordable price. I recommend it.

The sleeping bag is very well made. Easy to pack into the original compression sack. Size and weight are normal. So far, I haven't tested it on a typical camping trip, but in the car, you can sleep in it even at subzero temperatures and it's warm. Overall I recommend it - at this price you probably won't buy anything better.

The sleeping bag is warm, light, and well-made. This is already my second sleeping bag from Snugpak, and they really know how to make sure you get a good night's sleep outdoors in the right conditions. The downside may be that after compression it takes up some space, but it's a trade-off: either warmth from the sleeping bag, or carrying extra clothes for the night. I recommend it.

Very good sleeping bag. We have two, and they're just right for transitional temperatures, even without a tent. But in winter, you need something else - a tent or similar. Partially waterproof, and if it does get wet, it dries fairly quickly.

A good universal sleeping bag, I've slept in it in every season and I must say it has worked for me every time. You can pack it into quite a small bundle which makes it easy to carry.
