Folding EDC (Every Day Carry) knife designed with a robust, all-metal build
Featuring a blade with a Drop-Point profile, crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel known for reliable corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. The blade, finished with a full flat grind and hardened to 56–59 HRC, sports a refined Satin finish.
A thumb stud on the blade ensures convenient one-handed deployment. When open, the blade is secured by a dependable Frame Lock mechanism.
Handle is constructed from ergonomically contoured stainless steel scales. The anti-slip pattern guarantees a steady grip in all conditions. Jimping on the spine of the handle offers enhanced thumb traction for precision tasks. A lanyard hole at the rear of the handle enables attachment of a safety cord.
Everyday carry is simplified by the flexible, steel deep-carry clip, which is reversible for left or right-side positioning.

The knife is sharp right out of the box, which is a big plus. I carry it with me every day and it works perfectly in normal use. The clip holds well, although the knife itself is a bit lighter than I expected. Overall, it's a very nice EDC and you can see that SOG maintains its quality.

The knife is nice, but when it comes to opening it, it's a disaster. It's very hard to open it using the thumb stud. If I had to buy it again, I would definitely choose a completely different knife, certainly not the SOG FLASH FL.
