The knife is solid but has several significant flaws. The blade on one side gets dull very quickly; this is a flaw of all these knives. The clip is very stiff, and the knife often resets itself, maybe it's just my unit. Despite this, I recommend this knife—it's a piece of good steel, and there is no side play.
SOG Pentagon OTF Spring Knife - Blackout
The OTF (Out The Front) type spring-assisted knife features a blade that deploys forward by engaging a high-tension spring mechanism. Equipped with a D/A (Double Action) system, both blade deployment and retraction are handled by a single slider positioned on the side of the handle. Ambidextrous opening and closing ensure smooth and reliable functionality for both right and left-handed users.
CPM S35VN steel, Black Titanium Nitride coating
Crafted with a Spear-Point profile, the blade utilizes CPM S35VN steel, renowned for its excellent hardness and superior abrasion resistance. A protective layer of Black Titanium Nitride shields the blade, defending against scratches and reducing glare. The innovative dynamic locking system ensures a fluid transition when opening and closing the blade.
Anodized aluminum, steel clip
Constructed from lightweight, durable anodized aluminum, the handle features an ergonomic contour for comfortable use. Handle scales are expertly CNC-machined for precision. For enhanced control, notches have been incorporated onto the slide and handle scales, maximizing grip security. A practical pocket clip integrated on the handle enables convenient tip-down carry of the knife.
Spring knife
According to Polish regulations, no limitations are placed on the mechanisms used to open knives. In contrast, some countries enforce laws that restrict or ban the carrying of certain knife types. Prior to traveling internationally with a knife, make sure to review relevant regulations in your destination country.

An interesting OTF option. Very well made and with quality materials. Both the spring mechanism and the blade lock work flawlessly. The practically textured handle provides a secure grip in all weather conditions.
