Engineered to be 35% lighter than the standard Pentagon XR folding tactical knife, this variant incorporates carbon fiber reinforcements in place of traditional steel liners. Boasting an ergonomic, lightweight build, the knife is equipped with a CRYO CTS XHP stainless steel blade, a G10 laminate handle, and a robust XR Lock for maximum durability.
CRYO CTS XHP steel, titanium nitride coating
Featuring a blade with a Spear-Point profile, crafted from CRYO CTS XHP stainless steel using advanced powder metallurgy, this knife undergoes cryogenic hardening and is finished with a titanium nitride coating to provide corrosion resistance and minimize glare. Thanks to the high durability of the material, the blade offers exceptional resistance to cracking and chipping, while maintaining its sharpness for extended periods. A fuller runs along both sides of the blade, effectively reducing the knife's overall weight. The blade is equipped with a dual-sided thumb stud, allowing for straightforward ambidextrous opening. In addition, deployment is possible via a flipper, which, when engaged, acts as a protective guard to help prevent hand slippage onto the blade, or accidental movement when retracting the lock. For enhanced grip and control, thumb jimping has been integrated into the spine of the blade.
