The smartphone app is great. Pairing via BT is a bit problematic but it worked out. The chronograph correctly measures the speed of 5.5mm pellets from 0-170m/s (Zoraki PCA) even from a distance of 20cm, so it surely measures the pellet, not the gas. Unfortunately, for 4.5mm pellets it doesn't measure any shots from a distance of 20cm—there's no readout and I tested various pellets. When the barrel is brought closer to 0cm, it starts to measure, but the results are, you could say, random between 50-240m/s, although for my break barrel they should be stable at around 240m/s.
