Specna Arms RETRO Sten MK.II S Command Grip X-ASR Tracer AEG Submachine Gun - Grey

An electric replica of the Sten MK II (S) Command Grip submachine gun from the RETRO line, developed in collaboration with S&T/AGM. The series focuses on recreating historical firearm designs, offering models inspired by solutions from past decades.

The Sten MK II (S) Command Grip model has been stripped of the classic stock and equipped with a skeletonized pistol grip, which reduces weight and results in the compact dimensions of the design.

The gun is made primarily of metal, which contributes to its durability and resistance to heavy use. Steel was used to manufacture key structural components, such as the frame, magazine well, reload handle, trigger guard, grip, and mechanical sighting devices, which increases resistance to wear and tear.

The aluminum component is a removable dummy silencer, beneath which there is space for the battery and the MOSFET X-ASR module. This allowed for a compact design while ensuring easy access to the power supply and electronics.

The replica retains the characteristic, simplified Sten design based on a tubular receiver, which serves as the core element of the entire construction. At the front, there is a removable dummy suppressor, beneath which the battery and MOSFET X-ASR module are located.

The magazine is mounted on the side, which is typical for this weapon and gives the replica its distinctive profile. In the rear section, instead of a traditional stock, there is a skeletonized pistol grip (Command Grip), reducing both the length and weight of the gun.

The replica is powered by an electric drive, operates in full auto mode, and is fitted with a gearbox v7. This setup ensures stable mechanism operation and reliable performance.

Inside, the following are used

• adjustable Hop-Up system – allows the trajectory of the BBs to be adjusted to their weight and environmental conditions, resulting in better shot consistency
• 335 mm inner barrel – enhances trajectory stability

The replica achieves a muzzle velocity of around 440 FPS. The combination of electric drive, adjustable Hop-Up, and a barrel of appropriate length delivers stable operating parameters and consistent shot performance.

The replica comes with a Tracer, which enables illumination of fluorescent BBs, increasing their visibility in flight. This makes it easier to track shots and improves orientation during games in low-light conditions.

Additionally, the device simulates a muzzle flash, enhancing realism and visual effect, especially during night games. The Tracer is powered by a built-in battery, and the set includes a USB-C cable for convenient charging.

The model is equipped with a MOSFET X-ASR system, which ensures protection and optimizes the electrical system's performance in the replica. The module protects components from overloads, reducing wear and increasing overall durability. It also improves trigger response, shortening the time between pulling the trigger and firing. This results in more direct and consistent operation.

Furthermore, the MOSFET helps make more efficient use of the battery's energy, reducing power loss and stabilizing the drive system. Built-in indicator LEDs enable diagnoses of basic malfunctions, alerting the user to any electronic issues.

The replica is powered by a battery connected via a DEANS/T-connect plug. The set comes with a Mid-Cap magazine with a capacity of 120 BBs.
