Electric replica modeled after a compact version of the renowned M249 machine gun. The Para variant was specifically designed for airborne and reconnaissance units, featuring an adjustable buttstock and a shortened barrel to suit their requirements.
The outer barrel, magazine well, stock guide, and flash hider are constructed from metal. The bipod, external barrel lock, stock rest, trigger guard, carrying handle, as well as all screws and pins, are made from steel. The receiver, stock, breech cover with mounting rail, handguard, stock, magazine, and pistol grip are crafted from high-strength plastic.
A top-mounted RIS rail provides a platform for mounting optical sights. Under the barrel, a folding bipod is installed for enhanced stability during use. The standard flash hider is attached with a 14 mm left-hand thread, making it compatible with a sound suppressor. The adjustable buttstock can be extended or collapsed according to the user’s needs. A quick-change barrel system is incorporated into the weapon for added versatility.
A robust M249 type gearbox forms the core of the replica, featuring 8mm ball bearings, a reinforced set of steel gears, and a spring guide mounted on bearings.
Fitted with ESA’s quick-change spring system, the replica allows for swift and simple adjustment of its power output to suit different skirmish scenarios. The stock M120 spring offers a muzzle velocity of 400 FPS.
The package includes an electric box magazine with a 2,500-round capacity, powered by two AA batteries (not provided). Compatibility with standard STANAG/AR15 magazines is also ensured.
