Although I'm not a fan of Spyderco, I liked this model. Fits well in the hand, weight and dimensions OK, you can feel you're holding a solid folder. Workmanship, lock, clip, covers – nothing to complain about, although some defects and bubbles can happen. In my example, everything is OK. I recommend! Worth it.
Spyderco Resilience 8Cr13MoV Folding Knife
Robust folding utility knife, ideal for everyday carry. Outstanding value for the price—strongly recommended!
Drop-Point blade made of 8CR13MoV steel
Equipped with a drop point profile, the blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel (comparable to Aus8), renowned for its easy sharpening, reliable edge retention, and excellent resistance to corrosion. A flat-full grind has been applied to the blade.
Handle scales made of G10 composite with anti-slip texture
A hardened stainless steel framework forms the core of the knife's handle, secured with torx screws and fitted with G10 glass-epoxy composite scales for exceptional durability. Ergonomically shaped, the handle features a non-slip texture, ensuring a highly secure and reliable grip.
Smooth opening, Liner Lock mechanism
The blade features a thumb hole, a hallmark of all Spyderco knives, enabling easy one-handed opening with either the right or left hand. Exceptionally smooth blade deployment is ensured by bronze washers located on the pivot. A reliable Liner Lock mechanism secures the blade in the open position.
Spring steel clip
Reliable everyday carry is guaranteed by the handle’s spring-loaded, convertible clip (4 positions), making it easy to secure the knife to a belt or the edge of a pocket.

Spyderco is an American company based in Golden, Colorado, founded in 1976 by Sal and Gail Glesser. The brand's origins are linked to the invention of the “Portable Hand,” which gave rise to the company's name, and in 1978, the innovative Tri-Angle Sharpmaker® was introduced. The breakthrough came in 1981 with the launch of the C01 Worker knife - the world's first model with a carrying clip, the distinctive Spyderhole opening, and the serrated SpyderEdge blade. Spyderco was also a pioneer in the use of new materials, being the first to introduce CPM S60V powder steel and H-1 stainless steel, designed for use in marine environments. For years, the brand has been collaborating with renowned knifemakers, including Al Mar, Ernest Emerson, and Marcin Slysz, creating unique models that have gained iconic status. The stylized spider logo symbolizes both the company's origins and Spyderco's values: precision, innovation, and high performance.

My first purchase from this company. Spyderco did not impress me and probably won't encourage me to buy again. It has all cutting edges, even the plastic ones. Absolutely unfinished anywhere. Except for the clip, everything cuts your fingers and nails. If my daughter didn't like it, I would have gladly returned it. I do not recommend it, unless you use gloves. Even the Ganzo clone impresses me more.

Quite a large knife, a bit too big for everyday carry, but perfect for trips. Looks like solid workmanship. Chinese production – that's what I got.
-
The price differs a bit from that in the USA. Well, we live in a wealthy country :) I only replaced the clip screws, but as I've heard, that's a common problem. It's been in daily use for several years. I considered switching to Military. The question is, does paying three times more make it three times better?

A knife for many uses. I especially recommend it for batoning. Works great in the forest. Bites deeply into wood, and you can easily prepare food with it.
-
Knife for many uses. I do not recommend it for batoning.
-
Great large knife. I recommend it to everyone who's undecided. Expensive but worth every penny.
-
Big and sharp, just a little spider. I recommend.
-
For me, the best. It's quite big, but it's better to have this size as it has more uses – you can cut bread, slice vegetables, etc. Feels great in the hand, works extremely smoothly. Spyderco quality, as you know. The steel is sufficient, easy to sharpen. Great companion for trips.
-
Despite its large size, it's light and fits well in the hand. Sharpened perfectly.
-
However, a bit too big. Manufacturing and materials are OK. Although at this price, the steel could be better.

This is a machete, not a folder. Rather for the forest, because when you take it out in the city, you can expect strange looks.
-
Excellent, light, and sharp pocket knife. The downside is the opening system. In the model I purchased, the thumb hole was as sharp as the blade :). You need to be careful when opening, as you can cut your fingers. I had to adjust mine a little. Still, I recommend it. Very good purchase.
-
Quality to price is at a very good level. In my opinion, one of the best knives in this price range, if not the best. The only downside, but not only of this model, but of all Spyderco knives, is the soft screws. You have to be very careful when tightening if they come loose so you don't strip the heads. Otherwise, first class. I recommend it.

Great and large spider, I'm satisfied, I was afraid because my hands are small, but it fits perfectly, the clip is strong, works flawlessly in both the left and right hand, you can do a lot of tasks with it both in the kitchen and while camping. Hmm, for this price, the steel could really be better. But I'll still give it 5 stars.
