Mug purchased with the idea of creating the perfect set with a US Army canteen. It fits perfectly in the dedicated pocket, and thanks to the canteen fitting inside it ideally, we don't lose valuable space in the gear. I chose the MFH model because I wanted full compatibility with the lid from the same company – with the original contract mugs, the lids didn't always fit perfectly. Here, everything fits like a glove. Solid steel, foldable handles work flawlessly. I highly recommend it for building a classic canteen cup set.
Manufactured by MFH, the US Army field cup offers a capacity of 500 ml and features practical folding handles. Constructed from stainless steel, the cup is suitable for heating liquids directly over an open flame while ensuring exceptional durability.
Ideal choice for trekking adventures, multi-day expeditions, kayaking journeys, or camping.
Compatible with both base and lid from MFH, the field cup provides added versatility.

Fits the 1L M-Tac canteen perfectly. However, there might be a problem with inserting it along with the canteen into the pouch and with removing it from the pouch. Certainly, when you temporarily take the canteen out of the pouch just to have a drink, this cup won’t fall out.

Very well made, a durable mug resistant to impact and fire. Despite its weight, it’s much better than an aluminum mug. Very soon I will buy a second one, of course with a lid. Placed directly on a burning piece of wood, it can boil 0.5 liters of water in about 10 minutes. I highly recommend this mug along with the lid and canteen—an ideal set for solo expeditions and more. It also works well at home.

It looks solid. Stowed in the backpack for trips and just in case. Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. I think at this price it's quite a good purchase.

The mug is relatively lightweight and quite well made. For this price, there's nothing to complain about. I also recommend buying the stand for this mug (they fit together perfectly, so they take up little space together).

Hello! Nice little mug with a lid, does its job! Heats up coffee quickly and mulled wine tastes great from it! It even takes up little space in the backpack. I'm very satisfied with it! The extended handles are nice. I recommend this product and the store! Regards!

Very good quality workmanship, steel is steel, with the dedicated MFH lid and stand it makes a really good set for cooking or heating up - I highly recommend it.

Capacity is okay, the material the mug is made of is also good, and it has a foldable handle. For me, however, the most important advantage of this vessel is that you can buy a compatible lid and a stand for it, and its shape allows you to put a water canteen inside. Altogether, it makes an excellent set that doesn't take up much space in the backpack. The only thing you could complain about is the slightly sharp edges, but apart from that it's flawless.

A good mug, tested today, just right for coffee or simply boiling water. I recommend getting a lid from MFH as well, which goes on and comes off with some resistance - that's an advantage. Thanks to the lid, you can nicely lift the mug from the fire even when the handles are very hot. It will even work for preparing small meals, and canteens modeled after the US Army fit into it.

Great mug, but the capacity is easily around 700ml. You can cook 100g of rice in it with the lid on—perfect for camping and the forest. Obviously, it's made of steel and for this price, it's worth it. The shape makes it easy to put into and take out of a campfire using two sticks.

A set consisting of the MFH mug, MFH lid, and MFH stand combined with a Nalgene Oasis 1L installed in an M-Tac pouch on a Wisport Sparrow 30L backpack using the molle system stole my heart. This is the best set I can now imagine. I highly recommend this kit.

A solid mug for boiling water or reheating food. Steel, not aluminum. Thanks to this, you can reheat anything in it. Good when paired with a lid and a stand for the mug, which serves as a stove.
-
The original mug was already a bit worn out, so I bought this one. It fits the Nalgene canteen, but with the canteen together, it barely closes in the original Alice pouch. The edges of the canteen are a bit sharp; they probably won’t hurt your lips, but there’s a risk for your hands—a little sanding with sandpaper and it’s fine.

Fits the canteen, I recommend it.
-
A solid mug for drinking and preparing meals at camp.
