A very nice accessory for a carbine. For one, it adds a nice red accent—not everyone wants a painted, tactical AR15—and the ambidextrous release is also so good that if you want to detach the magazine, you can do it without any problem, while it is also small enough that your gear is unlikely to press it accidentally.

The release works properly. For a right-handed person, it's practically useless, but I use it most often when I have the carbine in a bag or on the table and want to detach the mag.

The AR15 is like a never-ending story, there’s always something to improve or upgrade. The ambidextrous release is especially useful for left-handed shooters. SI doesn't disappoint in this regard :)
