The Takumitak Obsidian Knife - Black/Coyote Brown is a durable, handy, well-made, and sharp knife. Additionally, it comes with interchangeable handle scales included in the set, which is a plus. It's the first knife from this company in my collection, I recommend it.
A robust survival knife featuring a Full Tang design, where the tang extends throughout the full length of the handle. Outfitted with a Clip-Point blade crafted from 3Cr13 stainless steel and heat-treated to a hardness of 54-56 HRC, this model offers excellent edge retention along with high resistance to wear.
Equipped with a partially serrated blade utilizing a hollow grind, finished in a protective Black Oxide coating for a semi-matte effect. This finish provides added resistance to corrosion and has anti-reflective properties. The integrated finger notch serves as a cross guard, helping to keep your hand secure and preventing slips during use.
Handle scales are constructed from glass fiber reinforced nylon (FRN), known for outstanding durability against both moisture and temperature extremes. Ergonomic shaping combined with an anti-slip texture ensures firm handling in any environment, and the handle incorporates a hole for easy lanyard attachment.
Supplied with a MOLLE sheath and clip made of FRN for versatile attachment to belts or compatible gear, the set also includes interchangeable handle scales in Coyote Brown.
