Texar ACU sweatshirt - UCP

A combat shirt with an ACU (Army Combat Uniform) fit designed for use in conditions requiring durability and ergonomics. The fit inspired by solutions used in military uniforms includes appropriate placement of pockets and adjustment elements, which affects wearing comfort and easy access to equipment.

Rip-Stop weave fabric, a blend of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, was used for production. The fabric structure limits the spread of possible damage, which increases resistance to abrasion and tearing.

Polyester ensures durability and faster drying of the material, while cotton improves the comfort and breathability of wearing. Additionally, areas particularly susceptible to wear have been reinforced with additional layers of fabric, which extends the combat shirt's lifespan.

The combat shirt is equipped with 4 pockets designed for user convenience:

• 2 chest pockets - positioned diagonally to facilitate access even when wearing a tactical vest and closed with a flap with velcro fastener for quick opening
• 2 shoulder pockets - provide additional space for small items, also closed with a flap with velcro fastener for secure content protection

The combat shirt is fastened with a zipper, which is secured with an additional velcro strip. This limits the wind from getting inside and protects the zipper from dirt.

A construction allowing for the placement of internal protective pads is used around the elbows. This solution increases the level of protection during contact with the ground and reduces material wear at critical points.

The sleeves' cuffs are equipped with velcro adjustment, allowing adjustment to wrists and improving comfort. The collar in the form of a standing collar fastened with velcro provides additional neck protection against wind and external factors.

On the shoulder pockets and at chest level there are velcro panels that allow for the mounting of identification patches and name tags. This solution allows the combat shirt to be tailored to specific use requirements.

UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.
