Bag crafted from 1000D polyester, offering robust protection for tactical gear while enabling fast and efficient access.
The main compartment features a built-in drawstring collar with a secure drawcord, ensuring contents remain safely inside. Two flat internal pockets are located within the compartment. The compartment is topped with a flap secured by a wide fastex buckle.
In addition, there are two compact external pockets with zipper closures (one on the top of the flap and one on the side), a separate pocket with a buckle closure for a mobile phone, a mesh pocket suitable for a 1-liter bottle, and three flat pockets: one on the flap, one beneath the flap, and one on the side.
Attachment points for extra pouches are provided by sewn PALS webbing, making it possible to add modular accessories. An adjustable shoulder strap comes equipped with a Shoulder Pad to ensure comfortable carrying even when fully loaded. The strap can be swiftly detached using a wide fastex buckle positioned above the dedicated mobile phone pocket.
Each zipper is fitted with nylon pulls that can serve for additional securing. A sewn-in keyper on the shoulder strap offers a spot for attaching keys or similar items.
Panels stitched into the section facing the body absorb vibrations and impacts for enhanced comfort and protection.

The bag is practical and functional, with solid stitching and material. A total of 12 pockets/compartments. Bottle pocket, velcro strap for attaching to a belt, carabiner. Plenty of options to attach extra gear. I bought mine in 2014, it’s still in great condition, only one metal zipper broke due to material fatigue. I recommend this product, tested in the field. Worth it.

Meets expectations after a year of use, however for me it's not very comfortable in the mountains without an additional waist belt to stabilize the bag, but for simple routes it's just right. Pockets are designed so that everything you need for a day fits, material quality is good, overall I recommend it but I think a standard backpack is a better choice :)

Although it looks small, it fits a lot. It even fits a DSLR camera with a lens attached + a second smaller lens in a separate pocket + small camera accessories. Solidly made and worth its price, really worth it.

Solid workmanship, fits well, spacious, useful, sensible pockets. The closures are based on zippers and fastex buckles. The Badger Outdoor Hatchet Bag and the Texar Commander Bag have a similar design, the same functionality, minimal differences in details. Badger has PVC linings that I think increase water resistance, while Texar has slightly wider zippers. The impression is as if the Texar is a "sturdier" version of the Badger, which may be reflected in the price.

Order—as usual—was fulfilled express fast. The bag is comfortable and spacious. For walks with binoculars or a camera, in my case, 'just right.' For everyday use, it's very convenient because of the many compartments. Comfortable, wide carrying strap. This is the fourth Texar product in my hands (a 5-year-old backpack still in use 'for work,' its successor for trips, and a belt pouch). The products are definitely OK.
