I was debating whether to choose the same, more expensive one from Helikon or specifically this one. Since my friends have the one from Helikon, I decided to test this one out and see if the quality differs, and to my surprise, the material quality and workmanship are practically identical. The zipper at the hood, fastenings, and grommets for using it as a tarp, etc., are a plus. I recommend :)

I recommend this poncho: thin, lightweight, you can use it in the rain, it doesn't bother you, doesn't leak through, fits in the cargo pants pocket. The only minus is that the hood is probably too small when tightened—on a bare head it's okay, but with a cap it's tight. Overall positive and does the job.

Good poncho with high waterproofness of 5000 mm/m2. It takes some strength to undo the buttons, and you need to squeeze through the head opening. The poncho itself is also quite wide. Despite these two drawbacks, I can recommend it.

I don't know where the positive reviews are coming from, maybe people have never used this outdoors. I’ve used mine for about 2 years, tested it in a lot of rain, and unfortunately I have to say I don’t recommend it. First, supposedly ripstop, but it tears easily when you pull a bit harder while undoing the snaps (later, I had to sew on regular buttons). Second, the mentioned snaps rust quickly, get stuck and are very delicate. Third and most important, the poncho leaks after prolonged use in rain, which means it’s basically useless because everything gets soaked anyway. For light drizzles, before the water gets through the material, it’s okay, but honestly you could use anything for that — not a supposedly rainproof poncho for 130 PLN. Recently, I’d just had enough and decided to throw it away after spending a few hours in the rain with it, and my uniform was soaked through to the bone, as if I wasn’t wearing anything. Don’t buy this, it’s a waste of money.

For people above 190 cm - too small. Snaps are quite weak (after snapping together with a Helikon poncho once, they became deformed). The biggest drawback for me is the tight hood - I can't pull it off my head while wearing the poncho as the opening is too small. The biggest advantage: ultra compactness - there's no competition in this range, and it has very good waterproofness and Polish camouflage. I'm now looking for another one that won't have these drawbacks.

The loose, roomy cut of the poncho allows you to wear it over any type of clothing and headgear, even when carrying a backpack or other gear. However, the product gets one star less for the tiny hood—you can't put it over a helmet. Once folded, the poncho really takes up very little space.

A review about 2 years after purchase. The poncho is super light and waterproof compared to most other ponchos in the "military" lines (I used an original USGI about 20 years ago, then Mil-Tec, then the UK army, and recently this Ultralight from Texar, but those tore in a storm, both mine and my wife's). Here, however, the size is a bit smaller and the material thinner (but so far, this hasn’t visibly affected the poncho’s durability). The poncho has already protected me and my wife (we have 2 pieces) about 3-5 times from heavier rain, and once even from hail in the Karkonosze mountains. It withstood a very strong storm with rain in Norway in Rondane National Park, so it performs valiantly even in almost alpine conditions. After all that, it still sufficiently protects from rain. I know there are others twice as expensive and probably better, but in my opinion, this model is currently at the top when it comes to price/quality ratio. I’d rather replace a cheap poncho every few years than walk for 10 years with one burned by sparks from a campfire.

Very lightweight poncho, probably waterproof in practice. Strong grommets allow you to use this cover as a compact tarp. After securely tying the hood, nothing should leak. Cleverly combining two creates quite a large tarp surface. Strong ripstop. It easily fits into a medium-sized MOLLE 7x3 pocket. The transport bag could be even smaller.
