Texar Traper 35 l Backpack Coyote

Engineered as a 3-Day Pack, this backpack features compartments designed to carry all essential gear for extended outdoor excursions. Ideally suited for hiking and survival missions.

Crafted from ultra-durable 1000D polyester, the fabric resists both tearing and abrasion.

Carrying system with contoured harnesses and chest and waist belt

A carrying system features a padded, ergonomically shaped back panel with channels to promote air circulation and ensure optimal breathability for the back, along with anatomically contoured suspenders. Secure and comfortable transport of a fully loaded backpack is ensured by robust, infinitely adjustable suspenders, a chest strap, and a hip belt.

Numerous pockets, laptop compartment

The backpack features five external pockets. The primary compartment accommodates items such as a sleeping bag, provisions, or additional clothing. Positioned against the back panel inside is a compartment pocket designed to hold an A4 folder, for instance. On the opposite wall of the main compartment, a smaller quick-access pocket with a zipper is available.

Directly in front of the main compartment (nearest the back), a slim compartment is provided, suitable for carrying a laptop. Additionally, a second compartment pocket is located in this section.

To organize and quickly retrieve smaller gear, four smaller pockets are located on the backpack’s front—two of which are flat pockets. The compact size of these pockets makes them ideal for items such as a small digital camera, navigation devices, glasses, or a phone, while the flat pockets are well-suited for carrying documents.

Zippered pockets

All pockets feature closures with zippers—durable, spiral, and equipped with two-way zippers, except for the flat pockets, which are fitted with single-direction zippers. The zippers provide smooth, rapid, and silent operation. By eliminating unnecessary metal components, contact noise between elements is effectively avoided.

Molle system, velcro panels, D-rings

Thanks to the implementation of the MOLLE system, which features straps positioned on the front and sides, the backpack offers excellent options for attaching gear and organizing access. The front straps are fitted with a velcro system, allowing for the secure placement of various emblems, such as national flags, unit insignias, or Morale Patches.

Equipped with D-rings (closed "D" shaped grommets), the backpack enables tactical gear to be attached with ease. An adjustable cord is located on the front, making it possible to secure additional equipment as needed.

compensation straps

The external dimensions of the backpack can be adjusted to fit the quantity of gear stored inside, thanks to compensation straps—two located on each side of the pack.

By tightening the straps, the backpack can be compressed, which is especially useful when the main compartment is empty but the smaller pockets are loaded. This adjustment helps preserve the backpack’s stability and a streamlined appearance.

Backpack purchased for my son for school. It seems well-made and from good materials. The backpack is very roomy, with plenty of pockets. An advantage is the possibility to adjust its size, for example, with the side straps when it is less loaded. First carrying impression: comfortable, shoulder straps do not dig into the shoulders.

After about four months it started to fray significantly, threads are sticking out from many places and look unattractive, the hip belt is almost torn off (see photo), the backpack is quite spacious (not proportional to its durability), it does have plenty of pockets and served me well for those few months.

Really great backpack, made very solidly from good materials, very spacious, I even managed to fit a laptop. Price matches quality, it has straps where you can attach additional pockets, e.g. first aid kit. Highly recommended.

I've had the backpack for 6 years now and I'm very satisfied. It happened a few times that it started to tear in places (with a really heavy load), but after small fixes done by a tailor, everything is fine. Really spacious, thanks to the numerous pockets you can organize your gear sensibly. Good quality and price.

Very comfortable and spacious backpack! A large number of external pockets allows for convenient arrangement of equipment. The quality of the used materials is very good.

I've been using it for a month, and I think that despite its "difference" in design, the backpack is quite nice to use. Something doesn't fit in the pocket? Just tighten the flap and nothing falls out. Comfortable to wear, although it sticks out oddly on the shoulders – maybe it's meant to be worn with the chest strap fastened (by the way, the chest strap doesn't hold well; it came off by itself, but that's a minor issue). Lots of pockets, well thought out, you have to get used to the smaller pocket near the back and the larger 'second' one, which is meant for carrying a laptop, though I don't know how well that works – probably only standard 15-16" will fit. I recommend it :D

I've been using it for 6 years, I highly recommend it. Its design allows you to significantly increase the load capacity without additional modules—you just need to plan it well. While moving out of the dorm, I fit almost the whole room into it, including a kettle, toaster, pillow, bedding, clothes, food, and many, many other things. Compression straps can be used to carry rolled-up blankets, pillows, a quilt, or a sleeping pad. Under the flap you can also hide something large and clamp it with the visible vertical strap so it won't fall out. I recommend it.

Very nice, spacious, and well-thought-out backpack. It has a downside. The side MOLLE system is very narrow. I barely managed to attach the purchased bag. The front ones are wider, although not all of them. Despite minor flaws, I highly recommend it.

The backpack is great. Very good stiffening (just right), straps integrated with the flap and the part that sits on your back, so you don't have to worry about it tearing or ripping. The number of pockets is super, and the laptop compartment can still fit a folder with documents or a back protector (which could be important for motorcyclists ????). You can detach the hip belt. Overall impression is excellent, I recommend it for everyday use. Works great on a motorcycle too, you can fit a change of clothes, a laptop, lunch for work, and some odds and ends. The wide handle on the top makes it easy to grab with gloves on.

Solid backpack. I've had it for a year and it serves me well. I recommend it.

Backpack made from high-quality materials. I like the extra external pockets where you can separately pack sorted things (e.g., first aid kit, ropes, etc.). The overlapping flap on the backpack allows you to attach a sleeping bag, mat, etc., underneath. On the other hand, the two main compartments are divided and small, making it hard to fit larger things inside. Plus for MOLLE. For longer trips, it's a bit uncomfortable to carry — the shoulder straps are spaced too wide at the top (subjectively for me).

The backpack is very durable and solid, and it also looks "tough". It survived a few trips to the seaside, where I carried gear for myself, my wife, and our two children. Nice capacity and the possibility to tighten it when it's not full. The flap is perfect for quickly storing a jacket/blanket, etc. The Molle system allows for additional modifications. For weekly bonfires, it's simply ideal—you can pack lots of beer and meat. I recommend it.
