TickLess – ultrasonic tick repellent is a compact and portable device that generates 40 kHz frequency ultrasonic waves, which remain imperceptible to both humans and pets.
Specially engineered for animals including dogs and cats, the device proves effective during outdoor activities in areas where the likelihood of tick encounters is elevated.
Ticks are known carriers of illnesses hazardous to both animals and people, such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Deploying this device helps to lower the chance of bites and, as a result, reduces the risk of infection.
Ticks rely on the Haller’s organ, positioned on the first pair of legs, to detect their host. Ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 40 kHz, emitted by the device, disrupt the organ’s ability to receive external stimuli. Protection is ensured within an effective range of approximately 1.5 meters.
A black casing crafted from robust plastic shields the device. Compliance with IP13 standards guarantees defense against solids larger than 50 mm and secures resistance to water sprayed from directions up to a 60-degree angle.
Activation of the product occurs upon removal of the tab, which initiates the device. The operating status is signaled by flashing LEDs. Deactivation is not possible, and the operational lifespan reaches a minimum of 6 months. To verify battery level, press the button—the LED positioned behind the grille will flash four times to indicate a full charge. Should fewer flashes appear, replacement of the device is required.
TickLess must be fastened to the collar with the grille positioned toward the animal’s body, ensuring optimal dispersion of ultrasonic waves.
Engineered to be entirely eco-friendly, the model releases no harmful substances into the environment and is designed for routine application. No danger exists for pregnant women, young children, individuals with pacemakers, elderly persons, or animals, making it a secure substitute for chemical agents, which may in certain instances trigger allergic responses.
