TickLess – ultrasonic tick repellent is a compact and portable device that emits ultrasonic pulses at a 40 kHz frequency, undetectable to both humans and pets.
Specifically engineered for animals like dogs and cats, this unit offers reliable protection in outdoor environments where the threat of tick encounters is heightened.
Ticks are vectors for serious illnesses affecting both humans and animals, including Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Employing this device helps lower the likelihood of tick bites and thereby reduces the risk of infection.
Ticks detect their host using the Haller’s organ, which is located on the foreleg of the first limb pair. Ultrasound waves at a frequency of 40 kHz generated by the device disrupt the organ’s ability to sense external stimuli. Operational coverage extends to approximately 1.5 meters, providing reliable protection.
A rugged brown housing constructed from durable plastic encases the device. Compliance with IP13 standards ensures defense against foreign objects over 50 mm in size as well as resistance to water splashes from multiple directions at a 60-degree angle.
To activate the product, remove the tab, which initiates the device. Flashing LEDs serve as an indicator of operation. Deactivation is not possible; the device boasts an operational lifespan of at least 6 months. To verify battery status, press the button—a properly functioning unit will flash the LED behind the grille four times. If fewer flashes occur, replacement of the device is required.
Attach TickLess directly to the collar with the grille positioned towards the animal’s body to ensure optimal dispersion of ultrasonic waves.
Engineered to be entirely environmentally safe, the model releases no harmful chemicals and is ideal for daily use.
