Faithful reproduction of one of history’s most iconic revolvers, first manufactured by the American company Colt and directly based on the legendary 1873 Single Action Army model. The Cattleman model operates as a 6-shot percussion cap black powder revolver and is loaded from the muzzle.
Fitted with a 7.5-inch .44 caliber barrel, the firearm utilizes a fixed front sight along with a rear sight for aiming. Both the frame and barrel are constructed from black-blued forged steel, matching the quality build of the trigger guard and grip. The grip panels are crafted from genuine walnut wood.
The 1873 Cattleman model closely follows the original Colt design, one of the best-selling revolvers ever produced and famed for its presence on the streets of Dodge City, Kansas. Its primary distinction is the use of individual powder and ball charges rather than integrated cartridges.
Commissioned originally for Bat Masterson of the Long Branch Saloon in Dodge City, this model quickly earned favor among lawmen, farmers, mercenaries, bounty hunters, and outlaws across the Wild West.

I bought it in the store, this is already my second Catelman, the first is the '3.5 inch', small but a bandit, both shoot beautifully at the target even from about 30 meters. Remis Pietty also shoots great.
