Sweatshirt crafted in the style of the official Ukrainian army uniform sweatshirt. Constructed from a blend of cotton and polyester, the fabric is lightweight and dries more quickly than pure cotton. Featuring a Rip-Stop weave, tear resistance is substantially enhanced. The summer variant incorporates a mesh lining sewn inside to enhance breathability and manage moisture more effectively during use.
Closure is provided by a zipper concealed beneath a velcro strip, while functionality is supported by 4 ergonomic pockets:
- two chest pockets secured with velcro,
- and one pocket with a velcro flap on each shoulder.
Equipped with 5 velcro panels, the sweatshirt enables attachment of various emblems, including insignia, national flags, unit badges, or Morale Patches.
The designation MM-14 stands for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and references the year 2014, marking the official adoption of this camouflage. The pattern is reminiscent of the American UCP design, but uses shades tailored to the natural colors specific to Ukraine's terrain. Adoption of the MM-14 camouflage scheme represented a key stage in the Ukrainian army’s reform to move away from post-Soviet insignia. Informally, MM14 is also referred to as Ukrainian Pixel Camo or Ukrainian Digital Camo.
