Tested during a 20km march at -8°C in MON summer boots + Woolpower 600 socks, my feet stayed dry, without chafing, and warm during breaks and the march (definitely thanks to the WP 600). They wicked moisture well. At the end, I felt the inside of the boot was damp and maybe the sock was slightly damp as well because I felt one big toe was a bit colder. In other boots, the end result might have been better, so overall the rating is good. More testing is needed.
