Varusteleka L1 Balaclava Merino Thermal Balaclava - Black
Thermal balaclava with one opening, made from high-quality Merino wool and polyester with a grammage of 180 g/m2, ensuring optimal thermal comfort. It effectively protects the mouth, nose, neck and chin. The anatomical shape and flat seam improve wearing comfort.
The model belongs to Varusteleka's first clothing layer (L1 Base Layer), designed to wick away moisture and ensure comfort when worn directly against the skin. It works well both during intense activity in warm conditions and as a base layer in winter.
Light and airy Merino wool, durable polyester
The balaclava is made from a blend of Merino wool (80%) and polyester (20%) with a grammage of 180 g/m2. The Merino wool used in the balaclava effectively wicks moisture away from the skin surface and provides appropriate thermal comfort as well as very good breathability. The material also features antibacterial properties and helps prevent unpleasant odours. The addition of polyester increases tear resistance.
The fabric is extremely soft and does not irritate the skin, yet despite its delicacy it offers high resistance to damage and pilling.
Fitted fit, ventilation flap and flat seams
The anatomical shape, flat seams and adjustable eye opening ensure comfort during wear. All edges have been hemmed and secured, which prevents abrasion and excessive stretching of the fabric. The seams used in the balaclava are flat, so they do not cause chafing. Thanks to the fitted fit, the model can be worn under a helmet or hard hat.
