Varusteleka L4 Operator Cap Cap - Ranger Green
Cap in green, with a fit inspired by classic patrol caps, enhanced with solutions intended for tactical applications. The model was developed for security operators, military personnel, uniformed service officers, and users operating in the field.
Thanks to its universal design, the cap is also suitable for everyday use, walks, trips, outdoor activities, and work requiring effective protection from the sun. Velcro panels allow its appearance to be adapted to the nature of the tasks performed.
combination of 3 rip-stop weave fabrics
The model is made from a material that is a combination of 3 fibers, each responsible for a different functional property of the fabric:
- 50% cotton - improves wearing comfort, provides softness in contact with the skin, and supports the breathability of the material. Thanks to this, the cap performs well during prolonged use.
- 48% polyamide - increases the durability of the fabric and its resistance to abrasion, tearing, and intensive use. The polyamide fiber helps maintain the durability of the construction during field use.
- 2% elastane - gives the material stretch, making it easier to fit the cap to the shape of the head. It also supports wearing comfort and helps reduce pressure during prolonged use.
The fabric is sewn in a Rip-Stop weave, whose reinforced structure reduces the risk of small tears and mechanical damage becoming larger.
NIR compliance
The fabric and velcro elements of the cap have been designed to reduce their visibility in near-infrared light. As a result, the material does not reflect infrared radiation as intensely as standard fabrics and velcro, which helps reduce the contrast of the cap during observation using night vision.
panel construction with visor, adjustment strap
The model features a classic, 6-panel fit with a contoured visor. The crown panels are joined with durable seams, which help maintain the proper shape of the cap during intensive use. The construction sits well on the head and provides protection from the sun.
The visor is equipped with a stiffened construction and finished with multi-row stitching. This solution increases its stability and helps maintain the intended profile. At the back of the cap there is an adjustable strap with a buckle. It allows the circumference to be adjusted to the head and stabilizes the cap during movement, running, and work.
3 Velcro panels for patches
The model is equipped with 3 velcro panels:
- front panel measuring 75 x 50 mm
- rear panel measuring 75 x 50 mm
- top panel measuring 30 x 20 mm
Velcro panels are used for attaching identification patches, flags, unit emblems, blood group markings, and other accessories equipped with velcro.
6 openings for effective ventilation
There are 6 ventilation openings in the upper part of the cap. They are placed in the crown panels to improve air circulation inside the cap and facilitate the dissipation of excess heat. The openings support ventilation during marching, field work, intense effort, and use in higher temperatures.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
