This model is the current military knife of the Swiss army, produced since 2008. Each piece has its year of production stamped on the main blade. My piece was manufactured in 2025. The quality of workmanship is, of course, superb, with no complaints. The blade is serrated 2/3 of the way, is super sharp, and perfect for cutting fibrous materials. I recommend it.

A classic of the genre. The blade locks, and there's a flat screwdriver. The knife can be opened with one hand, and the can opener and the small saw, although unassuming, really get the job done. I had to cut several meters of chipboard with the small saw on the smaller model when I didn't have another tool, and it was still sharp. It's a perfect complement to a large survival knife.

Victorinox pocket knife, as always with Victorinox – the quality is of course outstanding, all made with Swiss precision, accurately and solidly. The knife is compact and ergonomic in use. Blade opens with one hand, 2/3 serrated, cuts fibrous materials perfectly. Screwdrivers and openers are also flawless. The wood saw naturally saws wood excellently. The grip, with anti-slip inserts, is very comfortable. I recommend the Victorinox brand.

Great, but that's to be expected from this brand. A nice feature is the production year stamped on the main blade, which is unique to this model and the Alox Soldier. I have 10 Victorinox knives, I use them all for different occasions. In comparison, I find this model useful for everyday use or in the forest. Despite my concerns about carrying comfort, it turns out that attaching it on a chain to my belt really makes it comfortable to carry. For longer outdoor trips I prefer the Forester or Huntsman, as in the field it's better to have a corkscrew than a Phillips, and scissors also come in handy. Also, the flat grind handles wood better than a serrated one. In summary – it rests comfortably in my pocket as one of my EDC alternatives for everyday use.

Masterful pocket knife – but watch your fingers, because the blade cuts everything that gets in its way... fingers too :) But it does make a very clean access to bones :) Victorinox is Victorinox after all—a tool for many years.

Great pocket knife. I've used many Victorinox knives and have been very satisfied with all of them. This is my first with a serrated blade. Nice—easily cuts bread, and it's also good for slicing herbs and vegetables from the garden.

Very successful pocket knife. It has a comprehensive set of tools and is durable. Big plus for the ability to open the blade one-handed.

Military classic, modern version of the Bundeswehr pocket knife, has everything needed in the field, but generally is a militarized version of its civilian counterpart, the Vic Trailmaster, though I prefer the green one. Note – it does not have tweezers or a toothpick!!
