The ES 66C air rifle operates on compressed carbon dioxide and features a construction combining metal and plastic components. Metal parts include the bolt, receiver, hammer, functional decocker, and various small mechanisms. The grip panels are crafted from plastic.
A 12 g CO2 capsule, loaded into the magazine, powers the air rifle. Alongside the CO2 capsule, the magazine accommodates 14 x 4.5 mm BBs. Thanks to an efficient gas system, a single CO2 cartridge enables approximately 50 shots at a muzzle velocity of 140 m/s.
Equipped with a trigger system functioning in SA/DA mode (single action/double action), the rifle allows firing either by manually cocking the hammer or using double action. Ambidextrous hammer release levers (decocker) are positioned on both sides of the pistol.
The grip features anti-slip texturing at contact points, enhancing control and preventing the pistol from slipping during use.
Supplied in a polymer transport case lined with protective foam, the air rifle is securely enclosed with two sliding locks. Additional openings for a padlock behind the slides offer extra security to prevent unauthorized opening.
