I bought them during a great promotion, they seem solid and the quality appears to be at a good level. There is a slight hum in the background, I'm not sure if that's normal. They dampen louder noises well, while still allowing you to hear conversations nearby.
Walker's Razor Slim Active Hearing Protectors - Light Teal
Engineered for sport shooters, military personnel, and uniformed service members, these lightweight, low-profile active hearing protectors deliver reliable performance at both shooting ranges and in combat environments. The ergonomic design ensures optimal comfort and practicality, even during extended periods of wear.
Omni-directional microphones, SAC system
Two high-frequency omnidirectional microphones pick up ambient sounds and relay them directly to the integrated HD speakers. Utilizing the SAC (Sound Activated Compression) system, high-decibel sound bursts—such as gunshots—are compressed to safe levels within just 0.02 seconds.
Composite headband, foldable design
A contoured headband crafted from a non-slip composite, along with an adjustable ear cup positioning system, ensures the protectors can be tailored to the individual preferences of the user. Thanks to the foldable construction, transport and storage are highly convenient.
High noise attenuation efficiency
Compliant with the American NRR standard, these effectively attenuate noise levels by 23 dB.
Audio input, volume control
The 3.5 mm audio input enables connection of the protectors to external equipment such as cell phones or radios. A fluted control knob provides power and precise volume adjustment.
Powered by AAA batteries
Powered by two AAA batteries (included), battery replacement is straightforward—simply remove the side panel from one of the shells.

At this price, the Walker's Razor Slim active hearing protectors are a very reasonable choice for the shooting range. They muffle shots well while still allowing for normal conversation. They are lightweight, comfortable, and do not interfere when aiming a weapon. You just have to account for average muffling in closed environments and the lack of stereo (important!), but for this budget they get the job done.

Great choice at this price. Perfect for beginners and intermediate users. Lightweight but seem durable, comfortable to use. I definitely recommend it.

After a year and a half of use, I can say that in this price range, it is really a solid choice. Very comfortable, lightweight, and with very good headband adjustment. The sound is just okay, but the noise reduction is decent. After replacing the ear pads with gel ones, you get really solid, comfortable, durable, and still reasonably priced protectors. I recommend them.

They sit quite comfortably on the head, are lightweight, and have a low profile, so they don't get in the way when aiming with a weapon. That's a big plus, especially for someone who shoots frequently. It's also nice that you can adjust the volume – you can 'boost' the surrounding sounds, which sometimes lets you hear even better than without them.

I took them to the shooting range and they turned out to be really comfortable. They dampen gunshot sounds as they should, while still allowing you to hear conversations and commands – you don’t feel completely cut off from your surroundings. Their slim design works great with a rifle: the earmuffs don’t get in the way under the cheek and don’t make aiming difficult. The Battle Brown color is practical – it looks neutral and doesn’t get dirty as easily as black. As for comfort, I have no complaints after several hours of use, but after longer wearing you may feel some pressure from the headband. With thicker glasses frames, you have to adjust the position a bit to ensure a better seal. In the wind, they slightly amplify ambient noise, but that's typical for active headphones – you can get used to it. To sum up: a reasonable choice at this price. No fireworks, but they do their job and clearly improve shooting comfort.

The build quality and functionality are very good for this price. The ear pads are fine, although they could be slightly thicker. In this budget, I can’t think of anything nicer or that works better.
-
They cut out the noise perfectly, but allow for easy conversation at the shooting range. They are flat and do not interfere when taking aim. It is comfortable and reliable ear protection.
-
Great active ear protectors, at this price much better than regular ones without audio. They are lightweight and quite comfortable, the foam on the ears should be a bit thicker, but they don't cause pressure on the head even after prolonged use. The adjustment is convenient and solid, as is the overall build, well made.
-
Very comfortable, fit tightly but are not too compressive and provide excellent noise cancellation. Convenient to turn on and adjust the volume. They do not slip on the head or in the hands. Minor downside: they are coated with an anti-slip layer that clearly retains fingerprints if your fingers are not dry.
-
These active hearing protectors are a very reasonable option for the shooting range at this price. They muffle the sound of gunshots well, while still allowing for free communication and hearing instructions, so you are not completely isolated. The slim design is indeed a big help when shooting with a rifle – they are less of an obstacle than classic, larger ear cups. They are comfortable for several hours, but after a whole day, the headband may start to press on your head. If you wear glasses, sometimes a small gap forms by the temples, which slightly reduces protection – you just need to adjust the position of the ear cups. In windy conditions, they can amplify background noise, but this is a feature of most active models of this type. Overall, this is a proven and good solution that simply does its job.

They work nicely, it's a pity that the ambient sound isn't stereo, but the important thing is that it's there - they perform much better than headphones without monitoring. Even comfortable, though the cushions could be thicker and softer. For this price, great.

I have used them both at the shooting range and during training – they work great. They effectively dampen noise while allowing for easy conversation and awareness of the surroundings, which is very practical. They are lightweight and do not cause any pressure on the head, even after prolonged use. The adjustment is smooth, and the build quality is high. I appreciate their slim shape—they do not interfere when using a stock. The only drawback might be the fairly stiff headband at first, although it becomes more comfortable over time.

The ear protectors work well at the shooting range. They are comfortable, but after wearing them for a long time, they press a bit. Environmental sounds are clearly audible, and gunshots are properly muffled.
