Walker's Razor Slim Electronic Muffs Active Hearing Protectors - Olive Drab

Active hearing protectors equipped with sound compression technology activated by external noises. Thanks to the NRR noise reduction rating of 23 dB, they effectively attenuate harmful sounds such as gunshots while still allowing you to hear your surroundings and communicate freely.

Low-profile design, padded ear cups

The slim, low-profile design of the headphones ensures they fit snugly to the head and provide full freedom of movement both on the shooting range and in the field. Soft, padded ear cups guarantee high comfort even during extended use, and the construction allows the protectors to be folded inward for convenient transport. The contoured headband is made from a non-slip composite, and an adjustable ear cup system allows you to tailor the fit to your preferences.

Built-in HD speakers, omnidirectional microphones, SAC system

The protectors feature built-in HD speakers that deliver amplified sound directly to your ears, providing clear and natural audio. This enables comfortable communication at the shooting range or while hunting, with no distortion or muffling of speech.

Two high-frequency omnidirectional microphones pick up surrounding sounds and transmit them to the built-in HD speakers. The SAC (Sound Activated Compression) system reduces high-volume sound impulses (e.g. gunshots) to a safe level within 0.02 seconds.

3.5 mm audio input allows you to connect the protectors to devices such as a mobile phone or radio. The knurled adjustment knob is used to power on the headphones and control the volume.

powered by AAA batteries

The protectors are powered by two AAA batteries (included), which can be replaced simply by removing the panel on one ear cup.

Very good quality. It's a pity that there is no case or protection for the ear cups themselves. Noise reduction on an open shooting range is acceptable, unfortunately I haven't been to a closed one yet. Very comfortable. It's easy to change the batteries by lifting the flap. They don't have wireless connectivity, and for the price they could, as with today's technology it's nothing complicated. Big plus for not having buttons for turning on and volume control. In other, much more expensive headphones, they broke after two years. I recommend. Great promotion on the Multicam color. You won't find it cheaper anywhere, and uniformed services get an additional 6% discount.

There’s nothing to complain about. The earmuffs are perfect for me and also very nice-looking ;) The sound is very clear. The volume control is great. I wear glasses and that doesn’t interfere with using them either, although in the future I’ll buy gel ear cushions for even better comfort. I recommend them.

I bought these headphones on sale for $50, and in my opinion, that is exactly what they are worth. I liked them right away — they are light, compact, and fit well. At this price, I consider them a great choice for the shooting range and for simple, everyday use. However, I would not recommend them to military personnel for more demanding tasks; in that case, it would be better to go for a $200–$300 model.

These headphones are sometimes considered a model for beginner shooters, but after purchasing gel ear cushions, they perform at a much higher level. I am fully satisfied with the effectiveness of the noise reduction.

The headphones are really fine, I bought them for about 2000 with a discount. For this amount, they positively surprised me, because they not only work but also perform quite well. Sure, there are some difficulties with determining the direction of the sound, but when I remember their price, it stops bothering me. I will also add that it is worth buying silicone tips, because after an hour of wearing the standard ones, my ears start to hurt.

Pretty good protective headphones, especially if you can get them with the biggest military discount. It's nice that they protect your hearing even when they have no batteries. The amplification of quiet sounds could be better, but you can understand a close conversation.

I bought them during a great promotion, they seem solid and the quality appears to be at a good level. There is a slight hum in the background, I'm not sure if that's normal. They dampen louder noises well, while still allowing you to hear conversations nearby.

At this price, the Walker's Razor Slim active hearing protectors are a very reasonable choice for the shooting range. They muffle shots well while still allowing for normal conversation. They are lightweight, comfortable, and do not interfere when aiming a weapon. You just have to account for average muffling in closed environments and the lack of stereo (important!), but for this budget they get the job done.

Great choice at this price. Perfect for beginners and intermediate users. Lightweight but seem durable, comfortable to use. I definitely recommend it.

After a year and a half of use, I can say that in this price range, it is really a solid choice. Very comfortable, lightweight, and with very good headband adjustment. The sound is just okay, but the noise reduction is decent. After replacing the ear pads with gel ones, you get really solid, comfortable, durable, and still reasonably priced protectors. I recommend them.

They sit quite comfortably on the head, are lightweight, and have a low profile, so they don't get in the way when aiming with a weapon. That's a big plus, especially for someone who shoots frequently. It's also nice that you can adjust the volume – you can 'boost' the surrounding sounds, which sometimes lets you hear even better than without them.

I took them to the shooting range and they turned out to be really comfortable. They dampen gunshot sounds as they should, while still allowing you to hear conversations and commands – you don’t feel completely cut off from your surroundings. Their slim design works great with a rifle: the earmuffs don’t get in the way under the cheek and don’t make aiming difficult. The Battle Brown color is practical – it looks neutral and doesn’t get dirty as easily as black. As for comfort, I have no complaints after several hours of use, but after longer wearing you may feel some pressure from the headband. With thicker glasses frames, you have to adjust the position a bit to ensure a better seal. In the wind, they slightly amplify ambient noise, but that's typical for active headphones – you can get used to it. To sum up: a reasonable choice at this price. No fireworks, but they do their job and clearly improve shooting comfort.

The build quality and functionality are very good for this price. The ear pads are fine, although they could be slightly thicker. In this budget, I can’t think of anything nicer or that works better.

They cut out the noise perfectly, but allow for easy conversation at the shooting range. They are flat and do not interfere when taking aim. It is comfortable and reliable ear protection.
