I bought the sharpener to sharpen kitchen knives. It's perfect for my wife because you don't have to maintain a constant angle while sharpening, which she couldn't manage with other sharpeners. Besides, it has such a secure and comfortable grip that it doesn't slip out of her hands, unlike previous sharpeners. She also appreciates that her hands stay clean after sharpening. However, I noticed one disadvantage – it's difficult to properly sharpen knives with a blade shorter than 8 cm.
