The carbine is amazing. The best choice on the market in this price range. Accuracy as described. Superb.
Walther Rotex RM8 PCW air rifle features a timeless design, highlighted by a wooden forend. This PCP carbine, powered by compressed air, utilizes an 8-shot Low-Cap magazine for firing diabolo lead pellets.
ATTENTION!!!
An air source is required to fill PCP air rifles:
- a tank that allows air transfer via a PCP filling kit - see product
- filling with a pump - see product
The advantage of PCP (Precharged Pneumatics) air rifles over spring-powered models is demonstrated by the elimination of recoil, which is normally caused by the movement of a spring-driven piston within the cylinder. The action of internal elements weighing less than 10 g is undetectable for the shooter and a rifle over 3 kg. As a result, PCPs not only enable the use of finer, yet durable optical sights with higher magnification, but also allow the carbine to remain stable in the shooter's hands during firing, without concerns about recoil.
The attractive forend is crafted from beech wood by Minellia. The checkering is laser-engraved, and the buttstock features a rubber recoil pad for added comfort.
An elevated cheek pad ensures comfortable use of various optical sighting systems. The buttstock includes a ventilated rubber recoil pad for optimal placement in the shooting shoulder. The slim pistol grip provides a secure hold and effortless access to the safety. The forend is symmetrical, making the air rifle suitable for both left-handed and right-handed shooters.
Outfitted with a rifled barrel from the renowned German manufacturer Lothar-Walther, the barrel is finished with a muzzle constriction to enhance accuracy.
The steel air cylinder, with a 200 cm3 capacity, can be filled with compressed air to a maximum pressure of 232 BAR. At this pressure, the reservoir yields approximately 180 shots with steady initial velocity. Initial pellet velocity averages around 180 m/s, depending on pellet type. Charging the cylinder is easily accomplished using the included quick connect adaptor, which attaches to the tank hose.
Although no mechanical sights are fitted, the 11 mm standard mounting rail accommodates mounting of an optical sight.
Included in the set is an aluminum magazine that holds 8 pellets in 5.5 mm caliber. The four-stroke reloading system advances the magazine, chambering the next pellet for firing.

Fairly accurate for a 5.5 mm, but extremely loud. Properly made in German style.
