Shock-resistant and waterproof sports timepiece featuring a quartz mechanism. The black, octagonal case is crafted from a blend of resin and carbon fiber. The analog-digital display includes LED backlighting and a Neobrite coating for clear visibility in low-light conditions. The illumination can be activated manually via a button positioned on the side of the case. The dial is shielded by mineral glass rated at level five on the Mohs hardness scale.

The implementation of the G-Shock system significantly boosts resistance to impacts and physical damage. High water resistance is a hallmark of this watch, ensuring safe operation during water activities with protection for immersion up to 200 meters (20 bar), suitable for both swimming and diving.

Time can be displayed in a 12/24-hour mode. Additional functions include five daily alarms with a snooze option, a perpetual advanced calendar, a stopwatch capable of measuring up to 100 hours with 1/1000-second precision, and a timer which counts down from a maximum of 24 hours. The world time feature displays time across various time zones.

Powered by 2 x SR726W batteries, the watch offers a battery lifespan of 3 years as specified by the manufacturer. The strap is made from flexible black plastic, with adjustable length secured by a metal buckle.

Overall, I recommend it! In person it makes an even greater impression. It is elegant and therefore quite versatile, and the white hour markers are actually slightly grayish, so everything is toned down. It is not too tall/large on the wrist like some G-Shocks. The downsides are definitely the weak backlight from a single LED and the Neobrite coating is only on the hour/minute hands, but overall it is okay and fully deserves a 5/5 rating.
